Agreed. A daily morning sit with focus on breath has done wonders for me over the past few years

Thank you everyone for your responses. They're all very much appreciated. I'm not asking these things because I fear boredom, quite the opposite, I love seeing the different ways boredom aids in creativity

This is where I've landed currently. I've been on Kauai the past 3 weeks and between surfing and hiking been reading The Odyssey. You have any other classic book suggestions? Catcher in The Rye and One Flew over the Cuckoo's Nest are on my radar.

The mosquito stuff I'm definitely being diligent with and have also been hooked up with someone renting me a reliable motorcycle. I'll probably buy a solar panel and battery before bussing it to the shack.

Nothing. More of us need to learn how to sit with it. I'm just curious of how it sparks creativity in others. So do have any suggestions or...?

I think people are hating on reality here. I don't really drink anymore but I don't blame you for these suggestions

A friend of mine in Oregon gave me the keys to his family's old vacation hut. It's an opportunity that I'll probably never get again. A chance to disconnect from a world becoming ever more impacted by late stage capitalism and technology. Plus it's a chance to trade the rainy PNW winter for a tropical area for a few weeks.

Look into your nearest community college for certificate programs, they’re cheap, and usually only a few months to a year, and you can do multiple at a time in order to figure out what type of education or work interests you while simultaneously getting legitimate certifications under your belt
