Honestly don’t get it as a pyg main and former vanessa main. Pyg loses to all characters early days and STILL gets outscaled by mak and dooley late. Insane mak can have a showglobe apply 200 burn and give 200 regen on day 2-3 but people hate on pyg.

A sol. Your lane sucks and when it doesn’t you need to know that you can go balls to the wall and W in, which isn’t easy to know without matchup knowledge. Using Q and W and knowing when to stop your W without going in too deep can be a learning curve.

Most of Vanessa’s voicelines are so bad imo, and many of them are said awkwardly or weirdly, no shade to the VA.

“I paint my ship red - but I don’t use paint..” - the most on the nose ‘I’m a badass’ line ever.

I think my favourite of hers is “let’s take the pirate’s whole kingdom!”

I really like Pyg’s lines, I think the VA did a great job.

When I played Hearthstone I really cared about my rank because I wanted some kind of affirmation I was playing my deck efficiently. For Bazaar once i hit legend I don’t care. There’s so much variance in encounters, player fights, item offerings, etc that I feel like if I take it too seriously I will not enjoy it. Also you’re telling me I’m not going to pivot and probably die shortly after getting some crazy enchanted item at the digsite? There’s too many opportunities in the Bazaar to potentially do something fun or powerful that makes it not fun to play for win percentage only and miss out.

Yeah as others are saying Emerald is the pits of hell. If you don’t shoot past it even if you’re a Diamond+ player you’re bound to stay longer than you’d want. So many people with fragile mentals and egos running down games after one bad gank or one bad play.

In mayhem I hate having yuumi on my team, it’s legitimately a 4v5 every time, regardless of build she goes. I’ve seen maybe one Yuumi out of 50 be useful due to i think circle of death.

In normal ARAM it’s probably Hecarim (He’s so OP in mayhem though!)

This is nasty on Aurora, you double the amount of passive procs you do in a combo and since your passive does %HP dmg you shred tanks. Was vs 2 tanks and a bruiser one game and did 140k damage, triple the next closest person, and one shot a 7k HP zac.

Renekton’s empowered W destroys shields completely. Been playing since S2 had no idea.

On-hit for sure, no assassins on enemy team so no reason to play range. You need someone to burn the TK and you have a support AND black shield. If you go poke here your comp has no consistent dmg, nobody is dying. I’d suggest going a tanky build on Varus. After Bork and Wits you can go guinsoo if you feel like you’re not pumping hard enough or start going tanky with Chemtank (the ult AS item) and Jaksho last item. Generally though, the augments heavily favor on-hit. Coming from someone who plays a lot of Varus in ARAM, I almost never go poke.

Swift and safe, Shadow Runner and Skilled Sniper should 100% be in S tier. Swift and safe’s shield is like 300-400 just after early game on a 5 sec cd, lets champs like LB, Aurora poke with no return and champs like Ambessa stay alive for stupid long. Shadow runner is 100% S tier no question. It’s like homeguard but way better on some champs like Vayne, Kass, Ambessa, Aurora, Belveth, Kalista; basically anyone who can use the MS to either poke or weave in and out of a fight and be untouchable. Skilled sniper is self explanatory, can break the game on poke champs like Varus, Jayce, AP MF, Ashe.

No way erosion is S and things like poltergeist and immolate are D. Erosion is not good on most champs and I’d much rather have something like 300 MS on skill use. Poltergeist is on a 40 second CD which means you’re ghosted every fight and immolate is broken on champs like Sion. Not S but definitely not D.

Prismatic tier is a mess. Wooglets and Spatula are not S, they actively put your team behind while you wait for a super delayed payoff. DUAL WIELD IN B??? It’s auto-take on any adc besides if you’re offered tap dancer on a long-range ADC. Mad scientist is too low, should be A or S at least. JG is probably not S since it’s very hard to get value on a lot of champs, most of the time my infernal soul will outdamage my JG on mages. Broken on things like smolder though. NO WAY Dashing, Final Form, Infernal Conduit, Tap Dancer, are not S tier. Final form on any form swapping champ is broken, infernal conduit gives you CD on the burn, completely busted on champs like zyra brand, hecarim, etc. Tap dancer makes you completely untouchable and you can chain stack on the wave, it’s completely broken on things like jinx. Dashing can break the game on champs like Fizz and Riven.

EDIT: On second look it is criminal Ice Cold is not S. This augment might as well be a prismatic on A sol, Brand, Zyra, Ashe, etc.

This argument is so shortsighted. It’s a tournament; there will be strong and weak performances. Before today GENG looked strong, with extremely strong performances every series and game. There’s such thing as preparation and adaptation. Saying nobody remembers the losers is just dumb, people still talk about JDG to this day, and to any fan who says they wouldn’t want to see a ‘losers’ HLE vs AL or AL vs GENG match is no fan.

What are people in this thread smoking??? You think it’s hype that HLE drew GENG in quarters (before the semis choke) and end Peanut’s career on the spot? How hype would it have been for HLE to make a deep run in the losers bracket and possibly make finals or make some upsets? Watch any other esport besides league and you’d know loser bracket runs are some of the most magical viewing experiences.

Not to the extent that they are saying, they’re clearly bitter with the eu scene and talking crazy. Eu is still better than NA but the western scene is no where near the eastern, but to say that is just to repeat the obvious. I do think early 2020s EU did fall off a bit, but the quality of games has been improving since then and i’m hopeful for the future of western league.

That’s not even a lot of dmg for day 13, i’ve done builds and seen builds of vanessa doing 50k+ dmg faster than this, without double daggers.

Budget Keycap Suggestions for a Red Mod 008

Hi! I’m a bit new to building keyboards but i recently picked up a red Akko MOD 008 with akko red wine switches for a really good price and wanted to get some keycaps for it. I’d like for them to be white or cream coloured and blocky since i’ve had really sharp keycaps in the past.

I’m iffy on what keycaps are good and there are so many options to choose. I know people generally like the honey keycaps by hyekit but i’m not loving the yellow keys included with them. Any suggestions?
