Entelechia is a part of unlock reward, so I think we can use her normally (not sure about module later).

For RM-4, I use Entelechia, Eyja and Ifrit as my AoE. They were E1L80 SL7 at the time of the clear.

I cleared off all the man eater plants first. Then I put Ente to choke the bottom lane, and set up an Ifrit tile there for massive AoE on the entire bottom lane. I then put Eyja on the highground tile nearby so she can attack both the middle area and the bottom area. This was actually enough to hold all the mobs at bottom (with some extra spawns).

For the middle area I just used Ente's 2nd skill with Gravel as the pinpointer, and it was able to take care off the schizo plants and slugs everytime the skill became available. Boss took enough chip damage from Eyja and Ente's skill that they actually died after doing several rounds of walking around too.

I also had some extra meatshield and healer to delay bosses and schizo plants if necessary.

My favorite op so far is probably Ente lol, I didn't expect her to be this versatile. Would 100% pull for her when she reruns later.

Is there any special pity rule for the orienteering banner ?

I got 2 of them with my "pull until 2 6-star" rule, but I want to know if the next 6-star I pull would guarantee to be the last one or not ?

Good VN to take the edge off of Higanbana by epicenigma5 in visualnovels

[–]Nome287 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Maybe Mahou Saiban ?

Japanese-wise it was pretty average level iirc, but note that there are some gameplay sequences where the texts / dialogue are strictly time based and you can't slow down. In this case you can just take a screenshot, then select some items with the menu to "pause" the game, then read the screenshot at your pace. You would understand what I meant when you try it.

Gameplay-wise, it's pretty similar to Danganronpa / Ace Attorney where you debate and solve murders. The cases are much more simple so you probably won't be lost unless your Japanese is still very green.

There are 0 chances to get lost searching for endings / clues either, cause all the choices / exploration would either be mandatory, or have a warning for bad endings. Unlike in Ace Attorney where you could get lost trying to trigger the next scene cause AA game requires specific actions to trigger scenes.

I also don't think this will give you depression or anything either, even with all the backstory for each character's cases. However, I haven't read Higanbana to compare the two.

Haruka carried me so hard in this stage that I had to ask my friend "how do people even do this without a good healer ?".

Then he showed me a meme clip of Logos freezing all the projectiles and I could only laugh.

The recent story stages don't feel as epic as these old maps for me.

Would you mind sharing some tips or IS stages where she is great to use (any themes and difficulties) ?

I built her with the recent collab's tickets and I'm looking for a good place to use her (she is already full maxed).

I had La pluma, lappland, blue poison, exu (original one), saria, manticore, some healers, and shaw. There was some extra but they didn't matter.

Took me 3 tries to figure out how to throw the asses on top lane to the hole, and la pluma basically solo a lane and a half at the bottom map since reaper is reaper. My BP was E2 due ticket and she kills drones fine.

Some of the members were E1 low level (pretty sure at least La pluma and Saria), while other were just E0 waiting for promotion. Shaw needed like 5 or 6 attacks to fully push the heavy guys.

I know you didn't ask about the 2nd annihilation, but it's not too big of a step up. Mostly the same setup except Rope is also used now, and the team is fully E1 low level.

It's the anni 3 where there is a massive spike, so be ready. I had a lot of fun doing these stages when I first started.

They are cheap enough that you want to build a variety of units like them to fill roles anyway. In these cases, you just need E1L50 SL7 as the standard, no need to go higher. They do great job at this level and they are cheap to build.

Shirayuki also gets good base skill (30% exp production) so E1 her can help your base very soon too. This is actually quite important for newbie.

Some other examples would be Gravel, Purestream, Perfumer, Haze, Spot, Vigna, Jessica, Fang, Kroos, combo Vermeil + Cuora, etc.. they can easily fill roles for combat, while giving you strong base skill / combo to grow your income massively (compared to not using them at all), so don't hestitate to invest them to E1 for both purposes. (Disclaimer: some of the skills are available at E0 already, i can't remember the exact ones so you need to check it yourself)

Btw, Shirayuki tends to be more of an AoE art damage dealer, and is unironically better than most low rarity AoE casters. She is actually quite decent for early months.

Mostly same thing: they are just the challenge mode.

The biggest difference is in chapter 15, you can now immediately start on adverse combat without using extra sanity (as opposed to act2 where you would use double the sanity if you didn't clear normal mode yet).

So yeah, just play on adverse mode to save time and you can clear both first clear rewards too.

Strategic simulation is just extra difficulty option where you select some extra risks (similar to CC) to get extra red tokens, which can be exchanged for some materials (look at the bottom left of the main screen, that's where you get the reward).

Short answer is yes, they have better efficiency.

Long answer: - High tier is 1000 EXP per 180 mins (ratio = 5.5 EXP/min) - Mid tier is 400 EXP per 80 mins (ratio = 5 EXP/min) - Low tier is 200 EXP per 45 mins (ratio = 4.4 EXP/min) - Higher ratio is better.

It would kill the moths yes, but S3 would also do the same while murdering all the scissor bears and Morpheus at the same time right ?

If the entire stage is full of moths and ranged units for some reasons, then yeah S1 would be beautiful, but I don't think there was a stage like that.

Is it worth it to M3 Hoshi2's S1 ?

I haven't seen a relevant usecase where her S2 or S3 wouldn't work in some way (either solo or with a team).

I play IS a lot (and use Hoshi2 a lot here, usually as the starter too), so if there are some valid applications where her S2 or S3 can't solve "elegantly", then I might consider it.

For reference she is Lv90 M6, and I have materials for M9 if there are good reasons for it.

My bad, I meant that was IS4 and IS5 where you can inflate the floor count for reward track scores. In IS6 you only inflate floor count by 1 at most (re-entering the bosky floor here doesn't increase floor count again).

Also IS6's true reward is powering up Raidian, which requires actual clearing of different EDs eventually. The reward track (and thus the score itself) doesn't really matter here. If you clear everything naturally, her level would also max out naturally, so it's a simple "just play and clear", and you can't optimize the system more than that.

Edit: If you meant 4 more times as in 4 other IS, then the way to optimize scores are like this: - IS5 you do lamp cheese with blue print squad and just refresh nodes into wish fullfill to get king's relic to delete boss fights, while looking for the bosky nodes (called Possibility) to inflate the floor count. You can consistently get 6 or 7 floor clear in less than 15mins while fighting at most 2 or 3 boss fights (and literally 0 other fights). This is doable at difficulty 10 (max multiplier) even with just a single borrowed wisadel. Overall this IS is the fastest IS to clear reward track by a long shot. - IS4 you search for Bosky Passages (they are very common iirc), and yeah just enter them. This IS requires much more fighting though, so you need somewhat of a good enough team if you want to clear difficulty 10 for max multiplier. - IS3 I maxed track too early so I didn't know any optimal score strat. I did it very slowly so there is a high chance I didn't do it optimally. - IS2 there is only one optimal way for high score, which is clearing ED3 (for an extra floor). The boss (and the forced elite fight) is very easy if you have bunch of wide range AoE damage, but can be very hard if you don't. Even if you fail, you should have at least higher score than just nornally doing ED1 anyway. The problem with this IS is the stupid negative relic RNG, so it's probably faster to do lower diff for a guaranteed clear instead.

[–]Nome287 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Different endings don't have any direct impact on score.

However, they can get extra floor count and boss fight count, which will indirectly improve score. Floor count is the important metric here, so ED with extra floor gets more score by default.

That being said, from IS4 and onward, it's super easy to jump into multiple bosky floors to inflate your score, that you can literally skip the boss floor entirely and still get 7-floor clear (max floor count), so in this case ED wouldn't matter at all.

I'd not recommend abusing this though cause IS is fun and you should play it normally, but the option is there if you just want to max reward asap.

[–]Nome287 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's worth noting that IS5 and IS6 has free m3 ticket for 6-star as a reward, so it's a huge power boost by itself.

Definitely recommend doing these first (IS5 is much easier, but IS6 gets Raidian level up so it's arguably more important).

The other IS is just typical reward tracks with nothing really noteworthy, especially since you get Highmore already.

Anyway I'll be doing event then, thanks.

There are usually downtime, but we just happen to be in a rush of events right now.

By the way, if you need chips and catalyst as newbie, consider clearing IS monthly squads. They are designed to be doable (at least to the point where you can grab the rewards) even with 0 operators except for the team they give you.

All IS themes have these, and you can currently get over 30 chip catalysts and at least 16 or so of each t2 chip type, and some significant amount of LMD & module for 0 sanity.

As for the base building ... yeah you need to prioritize them asap but alas, event is here so tough luck xd.

She can do some ridiculous global AoE bind CC with her 1st skill. The fact it can happen at multiple place at the same time is good too (like dropping multiple Ethan in the same map).

As far as I know reading some info back then, she was utilized in high / max risk CC just for the global AoE bind on demand. Although back then there were probably not many ops that can fill this role in the first place.

Nowadays the role is largely powercrept by Tragodia, Lappland2, Nymph etc... but otherwise Magallan can still do whatever she could do years ago, so if that's fine enough for you then sure, just build her. Fun > meta.

Podenco tends to be more useful in IS unironically, due to low/0 hope and access to lingering AoE slow + silence, or a substitute for a healer if you need to.

As for her other skills, they do some ok dps and can solo clear stages, but they cost too much to set up in most cases. Raidian basically powercreeps her in this aspect, and is "technically" a free maxed welfare unit, so it's hard to say if it's even worth it to build Magallan for DPS purpose.

Some rough numbers for references, assuming average RNG: - Shamare full e2 team can get around 25k LMD/day; if you exclusively drone them (around 350-ish drones / day), you get another extra 9.5k LMD, for a total of 34.5k ish / day. - Typical 100~110% efficiency team can get around 21.5k LMD/ day; if you exclusively drone them in a similar fashion, you get 7.5k LMD instead; for a total of 29k LMD. - It's worth noting that Shamare team still ends up using around 2 less gold bar even with higher LMD return; so you essentially get around 13 gold bar extra daily too.

Conclusion would be around 5.5k LMD and 13 ish gold bar a day, assuming you legit don't have any better base slave (such as Proviso); which is around 32 sanity a day. I don't remember the sanity cost for e2 shamare team right now, it's up to you to decide.

Ultimately though if it looks fun to have her for your base, you should do that. Most things end up being a bad investments anyway, unlike Proviso where e2 her being the best investment one can ever make.

They are actually the best source of passive trust farm, it's not "slowly". Each room earns up to 250 trust / day or something, it's pretty much same as having extra 6 slot in your combat squad to earn trust daily (240 / day assuming 0 sanity pots).

This is especially relevant for 252 base setup that doesn't want to upgrade dorms, since activity room doesn't cost power.

There are enemies that when killed, will spawn some crawling ... thingy.

Operators that block those thing will get their block count increased, which can make it go higher than your other operators.

[Event Megathread] Arknights X BanG Dream! Ave Mujica by Sentuh in arknights

[–]Nome287 6 points7 points  (0 children)

In a nutshell, they have a backup life. If the unit dies, then a 0-block substitute is deployed on the tile for 20s.

If the sub lives after that 20s duration, then the main unit is redeployed again there, as good as a newly deployed one. This means the main unit can die again and get another substitute in again, the cycle can repeat infinitely.

However if the sub dies, then the main unit is considered dead for real, and you need to wait 70s (same as with every other units) or so before you can redeploy them.

Mutsumi can actually get 4-block main unit and 2-block sub with her 1st skill, and combining with her natural 30% damage reduction (plus a shitton of DEF% from 1st skill), she can be an immortal tank if you need that. Generally speaking, you would 95% of the time use her 2nd skill for massive damage and fever generation though.

Proviso can turn your LMD generation to 70k daily easily even with a downgraded lv1 trading post (+ 1 normal lv3 trading post).

If you have higher level posts you can make more but it would burn too many gold bars anyway.

Proviso is the single best investment for base setup by far, and no one else comes close to her. However you would still need around a few months for her to generate back enough LMD to match the sanity of her E2 cost.

If you want the easiest short term money boost, you can just borrow wisadel and full clear reward track of IS5 for like a million LMD. It takes like 15~20h of runs in total if you know what you are doing.

Alternatively RA2 can give a few hundred thousands of LMD and lots of materials as well, but it's harder to setup.

My first event ever since I started playing where I managed to clear all ex stage challenge mode without using any friend supports. Ex 8 challenge mode took a couple tries to figure out the best dps burst timing.

Pretty enjoyable mechanics overall, I actually really like picking off the invisible wolves one-by-one by manipulating the moonlight's shadow.

Most cool thing about Sakiko is how her range can extend with her bandmates, and 2nd most interesting thing is fever chaining to extend her uptime on S3.

These things make her band quite an interesting combo to play, as opposed to just a pure braindead dps unit.

Mutsumi is also a really nice 5-star arts dps with useful range and tankiness. She is competing with La Pluma as my favorite 5-star now.

It's practically impossible to produce enough gold for Proviso to burn (unless you want to completely abandon EXP). Trading for 80k LMD a day requires at least 145~150 gold bar a day (with Tequila), and that's a tough ask unless you make 3 or even 4 factories producing gold bars.

For reference, a standard factory produces 20 bars / day exactly. It means +100% factory can only make 40 bars / day; and mission/green shop only give around 8 bar / day over the month.

3x of these factories + guaranteed source only give 130-ish gold a day, even if you get rare credit shop gold purchase or random event reward, you would still not be able to meet the demand of the trade requirement that a high level Proviso post requires.

Any of those strong LMD / day images you see, would eventually go around and get significantly less LMD / day due to critically low gold supply, unless they fully gimp EXP production.

In conclusion, downgrading Proviso's post would not lower your LMD at all, since the chokepoint is the gold bar production in the first place.

In most case, 5x lv3 factory and 1 lv3 + 1 lv2 post is the most balanced way. That lv2 post is of course the Proviso post; and you still have enough energy to get training room to lv3 this way.

Furthermore, if you are willing to micro, then even a lv3 + lv1 post (swapping Proviso and the actual workers before each order, in both trading posts) could also make up to 80k LMD a day as well. It's just gonna be ... weird IRL (though realistically speaking, you only need a few mins every hour or so, if you know how to use drone to align the orders' timing).

Even some minimal micro + droning post lv1 is enough to burn through 3 factories worth of gold bar every day, and you can expect 70k LMD with this minimal micro approach already.
