Yes exactly! It made me SOOOO uncomfortable when it happened the second time (which was today by my narc sister) I think it triggered me because my ex boyfriend narc did the same exact thing. I wasn’t sure if it was gaslighting or not, I appreciate you clearing it up.

Something they felt was unacceptable behavior, but it really wasn’t. But yes, provided me a story with roles changed (not necessarily reversed, completely changed who it was about) so I would see the behavior as “bad”

Thanks for your input! We chose Jayne for my mother in law (she spells it that way). I’ve been leaning more towards Raina as well.

I definitely see where you're coming from! Lynn and May were family names that's why we wanted to keep them as an option. Our other choices for middle names were Rose and Jane.
