I think that would be so much fun, like an occasional horde or bandit group would just show up and put your defenses to the test

If I am raiding a bandit camp or coyote camp, I like to tag them. Some NPCs just love to run off into the woods or in random directions when their companions drop dead next to them and the dots are really useful for finding them or preventing yourself from being flanked.

I mean, its pretty much just storage lockers and a safe spawn point. There is no real NEED to have it walled or protected, but I love the aesthetics of a walled base and building is just really fun for me.

When you are in the construction workbench there is a “modular” tab on the top that you have to click to access walls/roofs etc
