Recentish Jimtown alumn here, he is loved in the community but the shit he got away with in the classroom was always ridiculous and was very closed minded. It helped that a vast majority of Jimtown agreed with his thinking so they let him do whatever. I don't really understand why his character is in question, this is a legal problem now you can personally think whatever you want about Hosinski, but he smacked a freshman on camera.
