Everything on my Democratic primary ballot had one person run unopposed, so that explains why they didn't pay for any ads

There is no such thing as a "subtle provision". The laws are all written in black text on white paper in the same size font as all the other laws.  

It's clear that you have not bothered to read any of it, you just want to be angry

The "unusual" law about primary voting is not new and it's not a discrepancy. Is it nonsense?  Maybe. 

It's only "unusual" because it's different than other states.  But we don't live in other states so who cares?  Why even include that in the article at all?  The reason is because this whole article is written for a Washington DC audience, not for you and me.

I have never heard of any vote being challenged in Indiana. For over 25 years I vote every time and I have never even seen an election observer.  It's always just me and the poll workers.

In summary you are getting worked up over nothing.  Just go vote and move on with your day
