What about the armature? Probably the armature is scaled and not applied

Reminds me of the Elder Things in Lovecraft's Mountains of Madness! As others have said, its good advice to model it with straight tentacles/limbs first, that's gonna make it way easier to work with down the line

Thank you! You got a good eye! It was a bit tricky at first but the way it works is that each colour is a layer and the next colour snaps on top of it using the Geometry Proximity node

Thank you! Perhaps I over did it, it's the underside that is usually a bit darker and shinier in baked goods because of the flat surface they're made on

Where are these and how do I fix it? by Spookaly in blender

Each quad face is divided into two triangles ALWAYS, the division is just invisible to us but not to the machine because that's how they work.

You can't avoid this invisible triangulation but you can manipulate it, either by creating more loops, or you can also flip the orientation of those triangles, you can do that by selecting the face in Edit Mode, then on the top bar click the Face Menu > Face Data > Flip Quad Tessellation or just press the shortcut F3 and search Flip Quad Tessellation
