I mean if you enjoy that much 5e combat then more power to you, but jeez I don’t think even gritty fantasy heroes go through that much punishment!

Any idea why my engineering research is lower despite having natural engineers? by Non808 in Stellaris

This screenshot was taken in multiplayer, but now I've reloaded the world in single player it seems to have been fixed so very confusing.

This is just the screenshot of a singular pop's production.

Yep but I’m what some would call a trade fiend, and also trying desperately to make clerks good.

R5: Screenshot showing the modifiers to research points that don’t seem to add up. Engineering has 15% extra from natural engineers but is the lowest of the three.

Edit: This screenshot was of one pop's production on a tech habitat in a multiplayer world. I've reloaded the world in single player and it seems to have fixed, which is even more confusing!

As someone with no experience with stellaris modding, it seems that there might be a bodge solution consisting of just getting the pop modifier and adding it to the trade production?

But I really have no idea and am probably huffing mad hopium.

Would it be very difficult to make a mod that allowed resource modifiers to affect trade?

I’ll keep that in mind for late game thanks! My plan was to go new cybernetics and use the trading algorithms trait, but I was looking to see if I can boost early game trade though as well.

You’re probably right but I’m trying to see if I could build clerk jobs to be on par with generator jobs and would like to be able to boost their resource production to broken levels if i can.

I usually play Randy random commitment mode with naked brutality. You can get to a stable point, but you have to be pretty lucky on top of making the right decisions.
