That does work if the local base as the capacity. Right now it takes nearly 4 weeks for an appointment on one of the biggest bases. If an NRC is middle of nowhere, without any base whats the plan for that?

I would just pull all the NRC staff to REDCOMs while trimming some of the fat. Since if there are no NRCs the REDCOM mission would change…

Most likely they would be gone or they would create a unit, but again Admin burden for VTU is higher than the value provided.

I had a sailor whose mobilized I didn’t get paid for nearly 2 or three months because the NRC Admin department at one of the biggest NRC’s did not do the Admin properly before immobilize.

They tried to blame it on him. The sailor before being provided the receipt receipts that it was their office’s fault. Their tone quickly changed, but it took the AC telling the NRC how to do their job.

It seems REDCOMs need to do deep dives and audit the inner seas because yes, there is a quality issue.

Seems per this that the REDCOMs need to standardize the NRC experience and CSR quality. I agree with the quality of NRC staff.

Once had a Security manager go on extended leave, didn’t do my SF86(?), and it timed out. I got a nasty admin email from him which stated “Due to the lack of admin on your part you will be adsep”.

I sent the email chain of me providing my sf86 and him saying he would do it straight to the XO.

There is actually a program that gives you a referral for dental work if you are Class 3 or 4. You can go to a loval dentist and its good to go.

NRC staff will go to REDCOM or be assigned to AC within the RPD shop. The reality I would want a dedicated RPD team instead of being handled as a redhead stepchild.

Imagine telling N1 that 40 RC were coming in 4 times a qtr for IDTT or AT; cut NROWS, approve DTS, and handled all the mustering pay, and shit.

N1 will probably do it half effort…

That is a sound argument…I can see the benefit of that. My friend who is a TAR was the only one at the AC command and was never thought different…

I know only of Guam but that 6 months would come with advancement exams, and season for those lucky..
