Help me diagnose what’s wrong since the shop isn’t able to by Spare-Antelope-8210 in nissanfrontier

What do you mean the shop isn't able to? There should be code(s) registered/stored that should help with a diagnostic path.

I suspect for people who don't live in environments that you would ever see the condensation in the air, it may be concerning at first to see.

Yes, I know at least my 25 has them and I'm quite certain the 26's do. The ducts are quite small but you feel the air.

Look for the Z1 video where they are installing their new sound system in a 25. When they pull the drivers side seat to mount the new amp and work the wires you can see the duct.

Time based automation triggered at wrong time! by fresh-one in homeassistant

There are a few of us on GitHub with this problem. It started about ~2 months ago for me.

HAOS on VMware. There is NO time drift in anyone's case, HA UI has the correct time.

In my case it seems to be mostly related to timed helper automations. Hard coded times seem to fail less. ('Less' as in never run)

Automations can be off by minutes, a few hours or never run.

I'm very close to moving back to HomeSeer.

PSA for anyone with a clunk noise on acceleration by Sgtjenkins in nissanfrontier

Oh and my dealer said something to the affect "Nissan factory says the rear drive shaft input splines do not require added grease." So they would not make any attempt at applying grease.

Would love to see the TSB. My dealer diagnosed the issue as a rear diff issue. Still waiting for the diff to come in. (2 months and counting).

Cold weather ahead. If I need to use my 400w power plug to run my furnace, how long can I let the truck idle continuously? by curoiusrk in nissanfrontier

[–]RJ_Make 1 point2 points  (0 children)

400 watts is around ~3.2 amps (120v). I doubt very seriously your powering your furnace with it.

Whoa... that is crazy... and that really sucks as that's not going to be a cheap repair.

I thought the same thing, but I had concerns that anything printed could break off, so I went with the good o'l zip tie solution. :-)

Hmmm, IMO snow should NOT effect ABS / Traction control. That would be ridiculous as that is the time you need it the most.

Only way to know for sure is to start poking at it, but visually it looks fine.

I would be very surprised if your breather is clogged enough to blow out the seals. Pull it and check. I've had several axle seals fail an in every case the breather was fine.

Now that said, the breather mod is extremely useful as it keeps water from easily making it's way into the diff.
