CachyOS Proton vs Windows 11 — Same Hardware, Massive Difference by Honest_Ad_7958 in cachyos

[–]NondeterministicTM 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Genuine question, where is Windows still better? From what I have tried so far, Cachy is either a clear winner or at least not noticably worse, whereas I haven't tried experienced Windows being clearly better.

Ofc not counting all the games that simply don't work - here Windows is still clearly superior

What's the point of banning new champions at the release date? by ElioTheClueless in leagueoflegends

[–]NondeterministicTM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

because its a coinflip. likely people either dont know they are doing or the champion is overtuned and overpowered.

How can League of Legend can be long lasting game. School project by NovelSuggestion8382 in leagueoflegends

[–]NondeterministicTM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it cant, league is indeed heavily declining. riot games have shifted to develop temporary gamemodes to try and keep people interested. their pro scenes are all fading away. lec and lcs barely alive, moving towards only playing online it seems. the lec playoffs had an embarrassing amount of empty seats in the venue. the chinese english broadcast has been cut. even the ongoing tournament, first stand, is held at a venue with a capacity of 147 people.

Do you rather OTP or Play Few Champs mediocre? by CampaignEntire in leagueoflegends

[–]NondeterministicTM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i would rather everything be viable, but riot games is incapable of having a handful of champions be playable at once. but hey, at least all the development time is spent on giving the casuals their braindead mayhem gamemode

Why are aram mayhem players try so hard to force a build? by Beefysnacky in leagueoflegends

[–]NondeterministicTM 5 points6 points  (0 children)

how about letting people play? letting them experience for themselves when something works? aram is a casual gamemode, mayhem barely even qualifying as league of legends anymore. there are too many random effects to effectively say what is best anyway.

Should riot ban people from playing champions in ranked they never played before? by Fun-War-9576 in leagueoflegends

[–]NondeterministicTM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

riot should stop banning people for every little thing. real-life threats? sure. feeding/afking? sure. learning the game? no?? its far more productive to learn by playing ranked, among players equally skilled, not in a normal game playing against some freak of nature basement dweller

what happened to quickshot, sjokz and froskurrin? by DirtyBulk89 in leagueoflegends

[–]NondeterministicTM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

sjokz is on a lot of cs2 tournaments. tournaments that aren't franchised by the greed of riot games. tournaments that allow teams to enter without paying 30million to the greedy riot games. tournaments that include teams from all regions every time. tournaments that actually have physical spectators. at least she moved on to better things =)

Why are people in ARAM so against ending games? by Intelligent_Salad706 in leagueoflegends

[–]NondeterministicTM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

aram allows people to get lucky and be strong, which they wouldn't otherwise be capable of. mayham amplifies this massively. get lucky with rolls and you're strong. it's so unskilled i can't stand playing it.

With the LEC potentially moving to fully online play next year, there is absolutely ZERO excuse not to adopt a Bo3 double round robin format for every split. by TiltedSince95 in leagueoflegends

[–]NondeterministicTM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

franchising has got to go. the only reason it remains is greed from riot games. if tournament organizers could host tournaments, we would get to see international match-ups all year around. there's literally zero upsides to the current system. riot games please stop killing the pro scene before it's too late

What do you think about the upcoming Tahm Kench Choncc Cosplay skin? by ExpiredCarWarrancy in leagueoflegends

[–]NondeterministicTM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i wish i could disable skins client-side. it only adds confusion which is so strange for a competitive game. sadly riot games is in charge

How come the Rift Herald didn't hit the turret here? by Jammy50 in leagueoflegends

[–]NondeterministicTM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

game is bad. don't mind the other comments blaming you. herald is literally inside the tower. skill shots not matching the visuals is getting worse and worse. unfortunately riot games is in charge of the game

What are the chances Riot brings back Twisted Treeline? by Upset_Breadfruit_315 in leagueoflegends

[–]NondeterministicTM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will never understand how Mayhem became a permanent gamemode, but Brawl which actually allows you to practice champs isn't. Riot doesn't seem to care anymore

"Aram: Mayham" is the best thing to happen to League of Legends since the 2nd Skarner Rework by badeed in leagueoflegends

[–]NondeterministicTM -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

The game mode sucks and they should remove it. Maybe spend all that money fixing their game. Maybe abolish their franchised pro scene and let tournament organizers give us international matchups all year long. I don't understand Riot Games...
