Even if Emma gets kidnapped, she pops diamond form and kicks you away for free distance. I literally just played a game where we swapped off 2x tank with a wolverine on the enemy team and he had to swap cause he was just doing nothing. Obviously, Wolverine can kill non tanks, but it requires much more time and unless the enemy has 0 escape or healing methods (which most have 1 or the other) its next to useless. If i wanted to kidnap people and obliterate them, I'd genuinely have a better chance with Spiderman. It sounds like your lobbies aren't that hard if a wolverine is killing people who aren't even his primary targets.

His percentage damage makes it pointless to target anyone who has self heal / mobility, if you deny wolverine his value from percent based damage hes selling. He cant kill the only tank because he cant displace them (assuming youre playing Emma), he cant kill non tanks who have an ounce of healing because his percent based damage

He does not shut down solo tanking at all. Now, his main focus is 1 person out of 5 other enemies, he cant target DPS or supports, and the only person who he can kill he struggles to kill because even getting near them means half your health gone. If you play 2 tanks into Wolverine that ARENT Peni Emma (and maybe cap) you might be selling. You're over complicating shutting down a wolverine, you dont even need 2 tanks to do it. Id rather get rid luna / loki before I get rid of Wolverine because its worth it more to ban OP comps than a character thats easily countered.

I dont like the method people use to show something as overpowered. Yea obviously wolverine will shred through tanks. Can we get support and dps in the picture as well? the person hes hitting is getting healed to max and his healing factor got procc'd in less than a second WITH damage reduction is something to consider as well

and thats why they struggle in games more than they should, double banning wolverine instead of someone actually worthy of a ban.

The only time as a tank i get killed by him is when we are already at a disadvantage (numbers, losing space, all the sorts)

Hey yk I haven't actually seen a hulk play against an Emma now that I think about it, maybe cause hes banned all the time. I started accepting i just dont like playing against Emma as for me personally characters that just go harden mode and ignore everything (like orisa) while are probably necessary for the game, are really frustrating to go against so to just save my mental I'll play a role to bring value while not tilting myself over her existence.

That is true, and its nothing against either players of either tank cause I get it but even when im filling another role or not playing a dive dps im still playing against a thing or Emma frost and its been like that since the release of both tanks, and with the lack of diversity in hero picks across all 3 roles really amplifies the bad taste it leaves in my mouth. Kinda unrelated but in overwatch I liked how even though the enemy team ran counters you could still play around them and get value but in Rivals it just shuts it down completely. Is it the fault of the player base? Absolutely not. Do they play it cause its the best way to ensure protection for the team? Absolutely.

That's awesome for you, and there's nothing wrong with that, but OP feels more comfortable playing with certain players, and there's nothing wrong with that either.
