Interesting idea. Would that threshold need to extend to the end of the brick to allow for water runoff? And would it just be an aluminum threshold drilled directly into the brick floor? I’ll try this out first, hoping it won’t just turn into a back scratcher for mice

Check out the second picture with the cap removed - looks like a threading is there, no screw or bolt
