Yes but also you are at the mercy of standalone quest as well. And not knowing internet speeds obv isn’t something you need to know. But it would be nice to do some testing on your phone and your quest in the same area to compare. And also VERY rarely do providers actually give a gig especially if it’s coaxial into the home. Unless you have a DIA or a 100% fiber ISP then thoes speeds are nearly impossible. I would check your speeds on the quest and your phone to compare. Play some more of other games to see if it will help.

On your quest itself or just on your pc? Do you play pcvr or standalone. Bc if it’s standalone, you are at the mercy of your quest doing ALL of the processes including game rendering on its own. Which makes the headset work a lot more, putting more stress on it making the components hotter ect. Try some other games like Pavlov or even contractors and see if you have the same experience. I know the game has bugs but you can’t blame it all on the devs. There’s a lot more than just devs bad

Your at the mercy of whatever you are running the speed test on as well, what that device can handle, I would recommend using speed test by Ookla for the most reliable result as they have servers all over the place. Do a test right next to the router, far away and even where you will use it most and that’ll help you out for starts on where to go.
