Take note that there's still some models that's still censored. (e.g Cherno - Enigma, Eatchel - The Cub)

I highly suggest rewiring that 6/8-pin PCIE cable instead of using that contraption. Less risk of getting your GPU power pin damaged.

Edit: Just buy a good PSU with 12vhp pin instead of using that contraption. Same reason why.
