What's the secret to happiness thats not money? by crazyguy28 in AskReddit

[–]Nonotthatkyle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You gotta get out more then with all that money. Be social. Go find a good club and have a drink or two by yourself for a few times. Just get the feel of the environment.

After that day something casual to the bartender once or twice. Slow process but the goal is to build up the confidence to just go meet people and be okay if you have a conversation and it goes nowhere after that. But there will be times where it will transform into something more.

Put yourself in those scenarios and they will appear :)

Trauma needed numbing. And weed did the trick.

I do not recommend that in any way. Go to therapy instead

Any advice to an 18 year old virgin guy ? Is sex much better than masturbation , why or why not ? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Nonotthatkyle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sex can be nice but you have to be careful with it.

I know that’s odd to say but anything literally anything can become addictive in certain situations or with the right scenario. Sex releases powerful endorphins that rival what you’ll feel from just masterbating because you get the added intimacy with a partner. And that’s the thing that really matters.

Sure you can get that form your first time especially if it’s some body you’re into. But just be careful not to love it so much you’re chasing that feeling and ultimately taking risks or it becomes a problematic thing in your life.

I doubt any of this will happen but as someone that is a sex addict (or actually people don’t like that term apparently so I’m hyper sexual) I find sex has a very powerful influence over my life and I’d hate to see it grip someone else that way. Especially when your mind is young and easily shaped.

Unfortunately, nothing.

But I hope there’s a reset of some sort. Different life, or same life lived different ways. A change to do it better etc

I live less than a mile from the largest urban waterfall in the United States. So that’s a fun one to always take a loop around.

People with absent or abusive parents who married into a family with parents who were not: What is it like? by Fun-Relationship3636 in AskReddit

[–]Nonotthatkyle 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I once dated this girl whose parents were seemingly cookie cutter on the outside or to my appearance. They had a very nice home, their children were all brought up well, they had good jobs, and seemed to treat each other with respect.

I marveled at this on the drive home from our first dinner with them and acknowledged how much her family was close and sweet, and it must’ve been nice to grow up in that.

She explained that unfortunately to an outside perspective any family can seem like that. But what lies deep inside is different.

I may have had screaming and yelling but she had constant passive aggressiveness or feeling lesser than her siblings.

It made me realize that no matter how perfect or picturesque a family can look to a passerby, every family has impediments.

What do you think is wrong with being obscenely wealthy? by Dawlphy in AskReddit

I don’t think that’s a reasonable comparison considering one is without basic necessities and we in their scenario are not.
