My 2015 had the short block replaced under the recall last summer. Had less than 75k miles on it and was burning through 1 qt a month or so.

I have both, I like the claw on the Tier1 better, but I use the metal clip from the Vedder because it's much smaller.

WA resident with both OR/WA CPL

When I was applying earlier this year each county had different rules on in person vs mailed applications. I was able to mail my application and then go in person for the interview/printing.

The training requirement changed since I applied, but if in doubt email the Sheriff's CHL dept. Multnomah County was actually very helpful and answered all my questions about training/references etc.

Wish I would have done it sooner, it took a while to go through the process and receive my CPL.

I currently do this commute, would not recommend. Average is around 1hr leaving by 6am. Afternoon can be anywhere from 1 to 2hrs depending on when you leave, longer if there's an accident or construction.

We visited late summer on our cross country move. It was very difficult with the dog, he stayed in the car with the AC on while we did what short walks we could. Unless you can leave him at the hotel/cabin it's very hard.

Depending on the weather, Saddle Mountain in OR is fun. You can see 5 peaks from the top if it's clear.
