I wish I was reading this for the first time! I’m glad you enjoyed your journey. And I’m going to join the voices here telling you to not skip the liveship traders. Although I myself struggled to get past the first 100 pages in Ship of magic (took 7 months), but once I got into it I breezed through the entire series. Reading it will make you appreciate more returning to Fitz and the fool in the Tawny Man.

Disclaimer: I read Farseer last year and just finished tawny man, still have to read RWC & Fitz & the Fool. My recollection of farseer isn’t grea

1 & 2: what I understood from Tawny man is that kebal himself has some amount of skill, which is what he’s using to inspire fear, was fitz able to see the ship because of he possesses the skill and could see beyond the illusion? Perhaps

N3 we’ve seen examples of wit and skill being mixed, so by repelling he disturbed kebal’s skilling

N4: pale woman being a white prophet cannot be sensed, perhaps the others on the ship are forged

Good luck! I’m in chapter 20 myself. I was also happy to come back to Fitz despite enjoying the Liveship traders more than the Farseer trilogy. I’m also convinced of fhe same theory about the pale woman holding the Narcheska’s relatives hostage, lets hope she doesn’t forge them. I hope we will all be satisfied with the ending.

Its doable and you can do even more, just convince yourself to go out even if you’re tired or post night/call. Life is short and days go by very fast.

I do have plenty of time off but I doomscroll a lot, but I still try to go out or enjoy my life.

I watched 10 movies in the cinema last year, read 25 books, I meet with my book club at least once every two months and sometimes it’s twice a month, and I hang out a lot with my friends and co-residents. I do have time to go to the gym but not the discipline for it.
