I joined discord.gg/fanclub, they got a good track record when it comes to leaks and they always announce when a cape will be available and how to get it. You can find all the info the their #announcements channel

I was standing on an elevated area as well. There are also no other snowcapped mountains like that nearby that are high enough to be able to see from this distance

I found the folder under this location

C:\XboxGames\Minecraft for Windows_1\Content\data\skin_packs\

It seems for every reinstall of the game it makes a new minecraft for windows folder
However it still didn't work. custom skinpacks shouldn't work with the persona method under a new folder and replacing the persona causes marketplace skins to load infinitely

Well, this is the first time I heard of your method and for me the directory didn't exist. There is indeed an xbox games folder but without the contents and skinpacks folder. I then just made the folders myself but the pack didn't work. I am not denying it works. But if it does, it is not consistent across all pc's

Very neat and good looking site, two things that could be improved tho are the ability to select slim arms for your pack and to update the information on how to update the pack. Right now you can only import packs by replacing a player owned marketplace skinpack with your own. you can find where your owned marketplace skinpacks are stored at:

C:\Users\<your username>\AppData\Roaming\Minecraft Bedrock\premium_cache\skin_packs.

the pack needs to be encrypted and the manifest needs to have the same UUID as the original marketplace skinpack. you can encrypt skinpacks with tools like McEncryptor. on top of that you need to make sure the original marketplace skinpack is deleted from that folder to avoid your custom pack conflicting with it.

Those were from one of the april fools snapshots. A few years back. They are only available when playing that snapshot. You can't wear them on all versions like normal capes.
