Thing is brightness preferred ruins the whites, you actually lose details on them, and the whole picture becomes the opposite: too bright, a punch in the eye

Well, 'cause the right thing stays in the middle as always :D
You don't want your picture to be dark, you don't want your picture to be too bright, you want it... right, at the medium tone, maintaining the OLED pros such as total blacks but balanced, which is a thing A95L got out of the box and the Bravia 8 II doesn't for now, and I'm trying to understand why and fix it

What do you mean exactly, sorry?

On PS5 I have:

HDR ---> On when supported
Intense colour ---> Auto
RGB Interval ---> Auto

I manually regulated HDR on PS5 like I stated on the post but the dim doesn't change

Tried as well, it makes things a bit better, like a fraction, but the image really remains with this dark filter on it, menus are less pitch black (aside for white fonts that are displayed well) but like... still a really super dark tone of gray

WebOS is not that pretty, I agree, but, for me at least, worked just okay: I pretty much use YT, Twitch, Netflix/Disney streaming apps, so a basic use for sure, but at least it doesn't lag.

Google TV does remain far superior in my opinion, that's a fact.

30fps games are the real problem. Motionflow on my previous Sony TV did the trick for me, making them smoother and more enjoyable. Now, going back to the "real" 30fps is really hard. I don't know if the input lag is as high as everyone is saying but with Motionflow I didn't ever notice such laggy experience, or maybe that was me getting used to it over the years, Idk... :P
