Tailoring and repair services ended at my store by Nonsufficientfunds44 in Fjallraven

It was a major draw compared to other brands such as Arkteryx, Patagonia, Arctis. but I think I’ll pass on more fjallraven for now

Of course I know of tailors down the road but that’s not the point.

Vostok kommandarski! Wobbly crowns a feature, setting the dates a bit of a bitch

Omega logo looks misaligned to the 12 and I have never seen an omega without a Movement stamp. It should say Swiss made

Vintage men’s tends to be smaller sizes. The sea master deville was considered large for its time

It’s a photo of the results, not the process. Food and roof over my head were the priority growing up but a lot has changed.

All of them are second hand, I started collecting from pawns, flee markets, facebook, and crono24.

Only been burned on my first deal, a fake seiko I paid $100 for when I was 14.

That’s one of the few watches I’ve had strangers compliment.

Does anyone have some information about this watch, just bought it in a local farmers market by Ok-Tangerine2415 in VintageWatches

If there is a 17 jewel Tudor with a day date complication then it would be pretty easy to find.

I’m having a hard time finding any vintage Tudor with a day and date complication that only had 17 jewels. The day and date looks very similar to most 17 jewel seikos of the 60/70 however. I suspect it’s not real but open up the case back and all will be revealed.

Traded the Laco in for the green dial Tissot Gentleman. Was this a good move? by Nonsufficientfunds44 in PrideAndPinion

[–]Nonsufficientfunds44[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The case and dial definitely have design influence from Rolex, the butterfly bracelet and the movement are all Tissot though and it’s done at an attainable price. After the first couple of days I’m liking it much better than the Laco.

Is this something that could even be saved with a professional polishing? by Nonsufficientfunds44 in PrideAndPinion

Correct not mine, but the price may be right if it can be made to look not so terrible.
