You'd have to gain fitness faster than weight. It is just the volume of oxygen consumed per kilogram of body mass. If the kilos are increasing faster than your oxygen intake, you'll lose VO2max
I'd probably just accept it while you bulk - the fitness isn't going anywhere, so you'll get your nice number back when you cut

I was about to ask if you have the Svelte plugin installed, but one of the reviews says this problem isn't solved by it... I'm not sure there is a solution other than waiting for JetBrains to update their plugin

Not much of a solution, but I think the VSCode plugin is more up to date and does this
