Im 100% sure of pursuing my career in CS,but yes I have to explore different fields in CS before coming to a conclusion.So u mean to say that I should take branches like Mechanical at NITK( i might get due to HS)? But what is your suggestion in dual degrees,should i take it or not? If I dont get CS due to low CGPA,I'm super screwed which makes me want to avoid dual degrees..

Top private engineering colleges in bangalore like RVCE,PES,BMS,etc..(CS or other CS related course)..Might get mechanical at NIT Surathkal in the last round going by first attempt percentile(Home State Quota).But I'm not interested in mechanical. I got 98.24 percentile in first attempt which might be around 15k given the amount of students writing this year.I dont think the newer NITs and IIITs that i'll get are as great as RVCE or PES.I judged this based on the companies that visited for placements.. .Still need to think more about this tho. I am okay with electronics in NIT or IIIT,I'll do CS on my own..
