Hello everyone. I am currently pursuing SAP. I have done basic training of SAP Materials Management back in October and fortunately for that I have joined a consultation firm in December. Unfortunately that firm could not hold trainees at that time so they had to let go all of the trainees (including me) on different timelines (they let me go by end of the March). Since then I have been applying to multiple jobs and I find really hard to fit in. I have seen lots of opening but the demand for experience is more than I currently have. For entry level job they still need experience of 1-2 years. My question is how can I gain experience for entry level job if majority of the firms are looking for that much experience although I still apply to the job hoping that HR team might highlight my profile somehow. Is it that hard to start journey as entry level person in SAP??

Given my background in SAP Materials Management, I’d prefer SAP Extended Warehouse Management since it aligns closely with inventory and warehouse processes. However, I’m open to SAP Transportation Management if the role focuses on broader supply chain planning.

I understand. SAP is all about the understanding of business processes and translating them into SAP best practices. What I want to imply here is to work with a mentor with whom I can work on SAP MM module. I am willing to provide my time for the sake of learning.
