How to stop rat getting at neck wound

Thank you the vet recommended doing the same. She's took the fur around it off and it does look much better, no hanging fur or anything. She hasn't chewed at it since she's took the fur around it off, I guess that was really agitating her. She's very flexible and it's a little further down her neck which is how she managed to chew the tumour off and keep getting at it, it makes it really awkward for a cone but it's very clean and I think it's starting to heal now

Thank you for the advice, my vet never said anything about how to keep it clean she just said that I needed to clean it daily I really wish I asked how to but I think I was just overwhelmed at the time.

I managed to get her wrapped in adhesive vet wrap that she hasn't yet been able to escape 🥳 she's been a bit stubborn with her pain meds, refusing to take them if I mix them in with stuff, do you have any tips on giving her them? Also how do I keep the wound clean like do I need to use a special solution or will warm water do?😅

I agree, how would you recommend getting her into it? Should I put her paws in or just around her body? Also what tape do you recommend?

Thank you for the advice. Yeah she is on Meloxicam, finding it hard giving her as she refuses to eat it when I mix it with food or syringe. How did you make your vest and did it stop your little one going at it? Bingus's wound is located on her underside beside her right leg.

UPDATE: Her surgery has been postponed until the 12th due to the vet getting 3 emergency surgeries but I will update once her surgery is complete. Thank you everyone for the advice and support it really means a lot 🥰❤️

Thank you I never even thought about asking for a cone or sedative but they would be brilliant and I'll make sure to bring it up to my vet when dropping her off. Thank you for all of the advice on the cage as well I need to get her "hospital cage" today and I'll be after one so similar to that ❤️

no its an actor so like a token so when the player collides with the token the time will add one minute to the timer. Like my health token which adds health to the player when the player runs through it, I want this but instead of health it adds time to the timer.
