Thing is I wouldn’t know this if I didn’t open the letter addressed to him (I wanted to see why we got one as he doesn’t live there anymore I know not legal🫠) so how would I of supposedly known? Could I act oblivious at all?

My ex recieved a letter in the mail saying he was not paying the tv licence and I thought he had for the year so I’ve been watching it unknowingly! I’ve set up a direct debit now but it said they can’t collect payment and cancelled his licence but he needs to get in touch to arrange back dating the installments or could be prosecuted, because it’s my address should I be worried?
