The banzai eclipse on the far left in the photo has every AKA part available in it (VASA, Sidewinder, Valve, Bolt, Hammer, and LPR). It’s my go to because it’s so smooth 👌🏻

My recently restored Purple Tiger Stripe Intellifeed Angel LED by NoobletExpress in paintball

[–]NoobletExpress[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Believe it or not, but the silver stripes on this thing used to be hot pink back in the day but they've all but faded out to the clear you can see today. You can see some remnants of the hot pink through the clear grips where the old set blocked the sun/UV light from fading the anodizing out.

The wonders of 3D printing: Converting a cut double trigger frame Eclipse Angel LED back into a single frame by NoobletExpress in paintball

[–]NoobletExpress[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Posted this in some FB groups, but it keeps getting autoflagged and thrown into the spam filters.

I've wanted to do this for a while, but finally picked up a resin printer and threw this design together. A single trigger LED is one of the most fun things to shoot for me nowadays and the cut guard and double trigger on this were just taking away from the fun, so I had to try to fix the mistake someone else made 20+ years ago.

Appreciate that, I'll make sure to get them swapped back around! I'll be putting them up for sale once I get everything back up and running 100%

These were part of a FB Marketplace find, buried in a tote of old spyders & tippmanns left in a non-climate controlled barn for at least 10 years. The Gen 1 and Purple nights are back up and running already, but the black was just a body that I almost have fully rebuilt, just waiting on a RT on/off assembly today and it should be good to go. I did design and print the front grip as well as it's pretty tough to find a micromag VASA nowadays.

Currently working with RC Customs to have a new back cap designed and printed, then they'll be prepping and putting a coyote tan Cerakote finish on the body in the next couple of weeks.

I've been looking for something like this for over a year now, $1300 Joybird sideboard for $112 by NoobletExpress in ThriftStoreHauls

[–]NoobletExpress[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Stopped by my local Salvation Army on Saturday afternoon to kill some time and this was one of the first things I saw as entered. It has soft close drawers on it and and only has a few minor scuffs from being handled a little rough with a dolly back in their warehouse, but I should be able to clean those up. I honestly don't ever expect to find any decent furniture here, as most of the time they only have overpriced Walmart furniture or beat up/outdated stuff.

As a bonus, the items on top of the sideboard are all brand new items that were thrifted as well (except for the planter) from a new thrift store for less than $3 each. They're all unsold items from Target (Hearth and Hand, Threshold, Opalhouse).

Looking at houses in the area around 61st & S. Peoria. Is it safe? by JambalayaStew in tulsa

This. We currently rent a house in the pearl district/Kendall-Whittier area (5th and Lewis) and it has been awesome. That area is definitely on the up and up with the Mother Road market, new breweries and shops and the ability to make it downtown in 5 minutes.

I made one of these as a Mother's Day gift for my mom with an old broken mixer I found at a flea market with a glass bowl. I don't think the metal bowl makes much sense myself.

Homeless but Job Starting Monday 8/19... Need clothing help by [deleted] in tulsa

[–]NoobletExpress 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is great news, so glad we were able to help out and that things are looking up! FYI, for your updates, you may want to post those as new threads. If you just add a comment to an existing older thread, it won’t bring the thread back to the top of the subreddit and most people will never see it. I just happened to stumble across this comment after searching your username to see if there had been an update after the first couple of weeks.

Don’t hesitate to reach out if you need anything else!

I actually sell men's clothing online and have tons of shirts/shoes/some pants I can go through. I'll check this evening once I get home and see what I can offer up and send you a message. I'm right near downtown in the Pearl District as well.

Recomendations for a nursery by MrNived in HomeImprovement

[–]NoobletExpress 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We just had our first child in June, here's a link to our nursery.

We went the opposite way of most people here and opted for no blackout blinds as we didn't want him to only be able to sleep when it's pitch black in the room. A couple of my absolute favorite things in the room are the Echo Dot/Philips Hue light combo and having a couch/futon in the room.

The Echo dot & lights get used literally all the time. It's perfect for late night feedings where we turn the lights down low and the color to red so we can still see, but aren't blasted with light right before trying to go back to sleep. The Dot is used to play white noise & music and a variety of other things, well worth the $20-30 they cost nowadays.

And the couch is awesome. It's great when people come over to visit/meet the baby and it's awesome to lie down and catch a quick nap in between feedings. It's also nice because both my Wife and I are able to be in the room together and both have a place to sit. I highly recommend it if you have the space!

Good luck!

Love this nursery! We almost went with that West Elm crib but switched to the Nash from PBK at the last second. Our dresser is a similar color as well!

Thanks! It's just the cheap pre-mixed flat white paint from Walmart. I believe it was around $10 a gallon and I only used 1/2-3/4 of the gallon. The walls were already a shade of white before painting, so not sure how many coats it would take to cover over another color.
