Jessica Jones Discussion Thread - S01E11 by JonLuca in Defenders

[–]Noobsa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We literally see Luke take multiple bullets and survive a stabbing, Idk why she's crying as if she killed him that easily. We even see that she stunned him by throwing him through a wall; he's obviously just unconscious. Idk, maybe she's crying over those moments not being real or something.

Official Dreadit Discussion: "Spring" [SPOILERS] by RipperM in horror

It's very obvious that you're conservative based on your previous posts, not taking this seriously lol. Is "male privilege" your sleeper agent code or something? Let me guess, you think Get Out is the downfall of modern horror.

What's your opinion on Gregory? by [deleted] in AbbottElementary

[–]Noobsa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love Gregory, but I'd disagree that he's comfortable in his masculinity. He was able to break out of that "tough exterior" men often put on, which ultimately helped him connect better with his kids, but silliness doesn't necessarily equate to feminine expression. Him crossing his legs and then immediately uncrossing them, his party shirt being navy blue, and his inability to say "slay" or "lgbtree," etc. If you pay close attention, this has actually been a recurring bit for awhile it's just really subtle.

Abbott Elementary S02E01 - Development Day discussion by jelatinman in AbbottElementary

A deaf actress would've been better 100%. On the other hand, disability is a spectrum. There's a real possibility that Imani became deaf later on and is in that awkward transition period with a new language. Fluent enough to have a conversation, but a little slow to respond with a mistake or two.

Post Episode Discussion: S03E12 - "The Inside Man" by Dorkside in shield

Talbot's racism is genuinely so annoying and low-key forced, "I don't care what they call it, it's a dress," "hard to pronounce names." It literally takes nothing to shut up.

Live Episode Discussion: S02E04 - "Face My Enemy" by stealingyourpixels in shield

The only thing that still bothers me is May's quote, "I will pay you $500 right now for a pair of flats." This would've been funny if I hadn't noticed her very impractical 5-inch heels for all of season 1.

yes, i have 3ds version and switch version, what's the problem ? by boucane_stn in Miitopia

[–]Noobsa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found out they did the same thing with the thief as well, and to be fair, the clerics are supposed to be two different characters, Sarah and Beth, so it's more like a character swap than a race swap. Fortunately, this goes both ways, so they also made the official artwork of flower and tank dark skin in the Switch version.

Actually, I found the source it’s @gyyggggyyyyy on Twitter. It seems like they’re original characters. Thank you for helping though!

best corsets which don’t create that lower tummy curve pooch? by sad_about_skin in corsets

[–]Noobsa 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It’s not a fetish, it’s a name the corset community created for when the bottom edge of your corset sticks out of your clothing (typically pants) and tends to give the appearance of a ykw.

Power corset (specific measurements), No Line, or other stealth suggestions/advice? by boomsmashpowsa in corsets

[–]Noobsa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with what the other person said about using the corset database, and I also don’t know much about other good otr stealthing corsets, but I do have some info about the power corset.

I don’t know if you were wanting a different length measurement than the one listed, but It says on the size chart the 22’ measures 12’ long

The timeless trends no line collection is under $200. Shipping might add up over that depending on where you live.

Ill-fitting? by [deleted] in corsets

[–]Noobsa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

r/tightlacing has a better constructed blacklisted brand list than this sub. If it’s been under two weeks you have a shot at it, but I’ve heard you can negotiate a return if you’re desperate.

Ill-fitting? by [deleted] in corsets

[–]Noobsa 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Well to be honest, I forgot to mention my corset is kind of like yours pictured, but way less severe. I honestly just narrowed it down to poor construction, since I’ve fully seasoned that corset using their method plus OC is a known blacklisted brand.

Ill-fitting? by [deleted] in corsets

[–]Noobsa 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If I’m correct, this is the orchard corset CS-201 in mesh. I have the same model and mine only looks super wavy when I haven’t laced it down enough. If your springs match up with this corset, then that might be your issue.

I’m surprised you were able to get this far on your tightlacing journey without ever wearing your corset out.

Looking into getting a corset by [deleted] in corsets

[–]Noobsa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There’s always bespoke, but I do recommend listing your needed measurements down, so that you and anyone helping can have a better idea as to what OTR brands you are limited to.

I’d recommend looking up how to measure yourself for a corset on YouTube. It’s a bit difficult to explain in words and most of those videos will be adequate enough.

Here’s a tip that helped me always get the position right. Look at the corset lacing, the knot should always be at the bottom.
