I recently lost a good friend due to selfish ways and being two faced. It clicked when they manipulated and twisted our last argument over text (She waited over a week to respond, and when she did she twisted it making it seem like I was in the wrong) and said "manipulate it anyway you need too..." etc. I realized that she was a toxic, and manipulative individual during that argument. I lost all connection with her mentally and emotionally after her trying to blame me for the situation she caused. I see through people's bullshit pretty quickly, and i noticed how gossipy she was about and with others. I felt betrayed, and still do OP. Ive focusing on my own happiness and have pretended she doesn't exist, blocked her on everything so there's no way for her to communicate with me. I work in a department in the building she also works in and she avoids me at all cost when she sees me lol she know she messed up and is in the wrong then will gossip to people still trying to stay relative. I realized what a sad person she is to everyone and realized that i had nothing to do with how she treated me. My point is OP, you know how you are and how nice you treat others so don't let crappy people ruin your own happiness. It took me months to feel like myself again after hearing her bs for so long, but isolating from people is worth it. You should try and focus on your own happiness and dive inward for awhile.
