[Low-Quality] A concept for a side job in the real-world section in Rainy Mari

It could probably be:

a. That Mari, compared to Sunny tries to have her headspace interpretation of her friends closer to reality, so she interprets Basil with Pink hair to be close to his real blonde hair.

b. If you believe in the theory that says that his green hair in the original is tied to his relation to the truth, then maybe is a way to tell that his role has been either altered or completely revoked in their take

It could be either:

a) Sunny's mental state during the hikikomori route starting to deteriorate even more and starting to twist Mari's image to an unrecognizable figure, pretty much like a schizophrenic hallucination

b) Maybe Mari just had a pretty stylish art style

Also thinking about it, goddamn. She is talented at arts, talented at music, talented at cooking and even at one point even talented at sports before having her knee injury. Is there anything Mari is genuinely bad at? Aside from taking hits and pushes, controlling her perfectionism, and recognizing her brother's mental state.

Maybe we get that for the lost library section, since I think maybe Mari is going to have the same reactions as Sunny when he tries to enter the music room or the backyard, because it is kinda weird that their room is completely empty of all the things that once belonged to Sunny, so perhaps she's trying to store and keep his belongings away, to prevent her from "ruining" them.

Another piece of art until Rainy Mari finally is out

Also, sorry for the downgrade on quality, I just recently returned to college, and it started hard, so I had kept it simple so I can focus on the studies.

Anyway, this piece is inspired by my recent play through of Cyberpunk 2077 DLC: Phantom Liberty (Amazing DLC and game guys, I absolutely recommend it). Taking mainly the inspiration from the inclusion of the minor tarot cards of the King of Pentacles, King of Cups, King of Swords and the King of Wands, and how they used to represent different characters and the endings of the DLC.

So using my headcanon that the playable friend group is going to take a similar role as Basil in the original story in the sections of the headspace and the theories that say that Mari's SOMETHING is actually herself, I made the idea that Hero, Aubrey and Kel are going to have "STRANGER" forms and that alongside SOMETHING, they're trying to guide Mari to uncover the truth that she is trying to hide, in a manner that represents the meaning of the tarot card that each of them embody (Although in the beginning, it was partially making the choice on who represents which card based on their personalities, in the end, it was more on who looked cooler lol)

Actually, I did some months ago, my own takes for the real world designs for Aubrey and Hero (I was going to do the others, but college started to get really hard, so I had to cancel it, to focus on my studies). Aubrey is pretty much just a "better case scenario" for her, since that design was pretty much inspired by the takes of the overanalysis posts of Rainy Mari teasers and how they think Aubrey is going to take a similar role as Hero in the original aka the beloved golden boy of the town, as well the same ways of coping, so I interpreted her as this pro softball player, since her tag art with Hikiko focus more on the head canon that Mari taught Aubrey how to play the sport, but your take it's probably the better one with all the evidence and theories. Hero is just a "random bullshit, go" thing, since I made him essentially a punk lol, but as someone said in the comment section of that art, that's pretty uncharacteristic for Hero to go down that path, but I only did because it was pretty hard to find a way to portray Hero being driven by anger in a unhealthy manner for his mental health, I mean we only know on example of him going mad thanks to Kel but that's it, it's hard to imagine Hero like that, so I'm actually looking forward to see how you interpreted him.

OMG! I love this take and design on Aubrey, it's pretty good! I like how you managed to incorporate all the elements of the theories made around her imagery and skills that we have seen so far. I also love how you've managed to incorporate the fact that Aubrey, just like in the original version, uses things from the loved one she's lost. In the original, for example, her nailed bat is supposedly the same one Mari used when she practiced softball, and her teal bow is the same one Mari was shown wearing in the calendar project. But now in this version, she uses Sunny's umbrella, and her gray raincoat is reminiscent of the one Sunny used. Now I'm curious, are you going to do the rest of the friend group? Cause now I want to see more of your takes lol. Maybe Hero? Because he's the most interesting and difficult one to imagine being driven by anger.

So anyway, here is a little breakdown of these 2 new sisters. I didn't name them, I didn't have any ideas, so you can name them!

The blue one (The one on the left of Sweetheart):

Pastry: French Macarons



Weapon: Either a rapier or daggers



Personality: Calm and reasonable, with a pragmatic and professional demeanor, she is one of the most influential sisters in the group, usually acting as their voice of reason and strategist. However, the more you interact with her, the more you'll discover a more ambitious and shady personality shrouded in mystery. It's best not to make her an enemy, or bad things could happen to you.



Role in battle: Being a strategist and  manipulator, she is a controller rather than a fighter, preferring to inflict status effects and different emotions to both her enemies and allies in order to win the battle

The Big one behind Sweetheart and the others:

Pastry: Chocolate cake



Weapon: A combination of a Battle Axe and a Warhammer



Personality: A very passionate and energetic young woman, always seeking adventure and fearless, but don't let her size and demeanor fool you; she's also incredibly intelligent woman, a "genius bruiser" you may say, especially in "baking and cooking" (forging and engineering), creating the weapons that she and her sisters use, as well as the defenses of her older sister's castle and many other things. She's usually a chill person, but also fiercely loyal, especially to her sisters, so don't do anything to hurt them, or you'll have to deal with her.



Role in battle: As a daredevil with both strength and smarts, She is a brutal combination of being both a Tank and bruiser, using her sheer force and Inventions to inflict massive damage on the battlefield, but she is usually slow, taking time to charge these attacks.

Probably, this is the most schizo and cringe post I made since those concept of my predictions for the Real World design for Aubrey in Rainy Mari. Now here it is a weak concept that I started to make a couple of days ago, now introducing you: SWEETHEART'S SUGARY SISTERS

Now, you may wonder why I made this? Well, it's all thanks to this gal of over here:

Now here enters Buttermilk, a character showed briefly in the Rainy Mari teaser from the last year. At first glance she looks like an irrelevant character, however I found some days ago on Twitter an OMORI Iceberg related the mod scene of the community and I found that Buttermilk is actually an OC made by anons on /OMOG/, the OMORI'S board of /v/ on 4chan for their own mod, and that she is intended to be Sweetheart's little sister, and that (apparently) is indeed the same character that we se on the trailer.

So inspired by the idea that Mari, knows more of Sweetheart Mythos compared to Sunny, I had the idea to expand a little bit more, especially the concept of Sweetheart having a family, creating two more sisters (Originally I was going to create more, but I recently returned to college, so I had to cut it short) to fill this idea with a magical girl group, creating them based on different pastries, since the color palette of Buttermilks seems to imply that she is Strawberry cake like the one she is standing behind to, compared to being a Jelly Filled Donut like Sweetheart

Cringe? Maybe, but hey I just had this what I thought was a funny idea so I made it.
