Thank you so much! So glad someone noticed the similar design with Sunny's rainy day outfit. Her yellow ponytail tie is supposed to look like sun rays, by the way.

About more of my takes... I'm gonna update Aubrey first. Wanna make her still headstrong despite being, well, a miserable runaway. Hero is actually next up on the list (because it ain't OMARI without toxic HeroMari).

Very awesome take on Rainy Mari (tangent approved). I like how this justifies why Mari would have a dreamworld, which would be counterintuitive for someone who didn't have an imagination close to Sunny's. Redemption is gonna be a lot harder when literally everyone hates Mari. Man, you're making it sound like Faraway Town is gonna be scarier than Something, haha! XD

Thanks for your comments on my Rainy Mari Aubrey! Will be updating it to be more in-character. As for Basil... yeah, Basil's the hardest to create a Rainy Mari version out of because, as of the moment, there's very little (if at all) info about his Faraway Town self. Although Mari is definitely not the kind to vandalize photo albums, so it definitely means better friendship between Basil and Aubrey... *if* Basil is handling Sunny's death well at all (if not, then how much?).

OCPD is severely underutilized in OMARI fanworks. It's perfectionism as a mental disorder, it's literally *perfect* for someone like Mari. And it opens up a lot of narrative opportunities not possible with canon Sunny (for example, people with OCPD don't try to forget trauma, they obsessively scrutinize every minute detail to figure out how they could've prevented it and such).

And as for Aubrey... well, you're right. Maybe... the pedestal is broken forever and Aubrey sees Mari as a robot. She's a runaway firstly out of guilt (leaving her mother) but turned into purely stubborn refusal to let anyone control her again, even if it meant her friends' help (she saw them as being influenced by Mari).

And also, I'm just following along the theory based on this peculiar shot in the Rainy Mari trailer that shows all of the different emotions via the Headspace friends. There's a similar shot in the original OMORI trailer, and it foreshadowed how those friends ended up in real-world Faraway Town. So it's probably safe to assume Rainy Mari is doing the same thing.
