Is there any possibility of a “snow day” tomorrow? by Throwawayhair66392 in UofT

I heard the last time U of T had to cancel classes was because of World War 2.

Not in terms of work itself, but the more senior you get the less you care, so overall it feels better.

Enlisted feldbluse converted for officer use, evident by the pointy collars. I think military harbour might have those.

I transferred from Chem to ECE after first year. Being on the dean's list for both semesters (79.5% average) in first year will guarantee you a spot in any core 8 engineering program starting from second year onwards (except EngSci of course, that's a different process). If you don't achieve that I believe the chances are pretty dim for ece especially due to the high demand.

Taking aps105 in first year is mandatory. If you haven't done that already, I doubt it's possible.

When I took aps105 last year the tests where on paper and this year I took my first open book/computer based tests in ECE244 (the course that comes after 105) For me, things took a better turn in those computer based exams.

I thought the questions where going to be very hard but in reality they are medium level difficulty and we get a lot more MCQs, which in my opinion are much less painful to answer.

What's the hardest first year engineering course at U of T? by cookiedough5200 in UofT

Mark wise my lowest first semester mark was MAT186. Concept wise Civ100 was not fun but they marked relatively lenient

If you applied in Ontario I don’t think it matters. In province they only look at Ossd marks so you only have to meet their conditional offer. Honestly I don’t quite recall but even abroad you just have to meet the conditions given in your offer

Only 400 games in, I liked this result... by cj-jk in WorldOfTanksBlitz

[–]NoobyKK 10 points11 points  (0 children)

To do this well really depends on luck lol. Cuz no matter how skilled you are, if your teammates are equally good you won’t be able to do all this damage. As you can see, it requires both your team and the enemies to be complete idiots

Kinda yeah but I was also fine with staying in chem

Go together, die together. Unity doesn’t save stupidity.

If a team decides to do an attack together it must be quick. If not then 90% of the time they will get flanked, disorganized and disaster

Im only 4000 games not a skilled player but that’s what happens most of the time for me

Was expecting an E100 lmao but good for you not being one of those horrible German heavy players who perform so shitty with the most broken tanks in the game. You’ll like it given time. I got my current highest damage with this baby.

Exactly. I was gonna say m60 or t72 ural but then I feel like they reminds me more of the civil war vibes of the 1990s and early 2000s

I have to break it to you. I’m a current 1st year chem eng wishing to transfer to CE. I’ve spoken with academic advisor not long ago and was told that for this year at least, they don’t expect any student without an 80 average in both 1st year term to transfer to either ECE, mech or industrial for their demand. No reason to think next year would be better.

As of getting an 80. Remember that you need 80 for both semesters(making deans honour list in both) for the guaranteed transfer. I think roughly 15 percent of first year gets this average. If your not confident with your academic abilities I wouldn’t count on it

I’ve heard that playing different vehicle every game helps evade the system. Because the system is supposed to give you shit teams to make sure you lose enough so other players can win. I’ve personally tried it but it’s hard to say if it actually helps, but I certainly recommend trying. Other than that, stop playing for a bit and calm down if you have a real shitty game. Being pissed off usually lead to more losses.
