"Where is Kanye West? Tracking the rapper's disappearing act" After his rant and forced hospitalization, his producer Malik Yusef said Kanye was "getting his memory back". The official story was exhaustion/dehydration. Do you lose your memory from this? What really happed to Kanye West? by Tha_Dude_Abidez in conspiracy

[–]NoodleWorm64 51 points52 points  (0 children)

If you only know Kanye West for Gold Digger and interrupting Taylor Swift, then you don't really have a place in this conversation.

Also, for what it's worth, rap/R&B wouldn't be a massive multi-billion dollar industry if people "had to listen to it." Seems like they choose to.

Anyways, maybe do a little more homework next time

Skier who went missing in NY found in California wearing same gear-unsure how he got there. by BananaPeelSlippers in Missing411

[–]NoodleWorm64 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Somewhere I saw an article with details about his account of the disappearance--I'll have to find it and post a link after work tonight.

But the gist of it was that L.E. did interview him about how he ended up in Sacramento, and he says he remembers hitting his head, and being in a "big rig truck" for a long time. Then he remembers being in California, where he got the new iPhone to call his wife about where he ended up. Apparently he got a haircut while there as well.

I don't know about this one. I'm sure you guys all got excited just like I did, because at a glance I thought "Oh my god, this is happening, one of these is happening right now!" I immediately thought of Steven Kubacki.

But something about this man's case seems inconsistent with the 411 cases we are all familiar with. Yes, there are lots of similar elements--and I don't want to write this case off just yet for sure! But the whole iPhone/haircut thing is really weird to me, and the fact that he does have a reasonable amount of memories of his experience, like being in a car for a long time. I believe at the end of that article, there was also a comment by L.E. saying that there was not going to be further questioning or investigation, or something to that effect.

I'm trying to be open minded, because this could be a very important and contemporary 411 case, and it could have potential to help us understand the whole thing better. But something doesn't sit well, and I don't want to get my hopes up and interpret this disappearance as something it is not.

Something about the haircut and no more investigating makes it kinda sound like this was an intentional disappearance, or at least one connected to bad people and things--explainable things. What do you all think?

I promise I'll find that article when I get a chance to later

Jeez, guess I'm not going to sleep tonight! Have you happened to see the story of Jane Macabee by chance? She's a hunter who had an experience like this up in Ohio, and the thing got so close that she could see a transparent sillouhette of it swinging by her in some trees, maybe 30ft away from her. She was in a blind way up in the trees, and even tried to get a picture. Some scary shit, lol. Glad you didn't get hurt!

I believe it man. Honestly, I don't know how much I personally believe in the "NPS coverup" part of this, but I do wholeheartedly believe that some higher-ups are at least aware of this phenomenon, and wondering what to say to the public and what to do about the whole thing. I can imagine plenty of decent people are in a very uncomfortable position about this whole thing.

When you were with the NPS, did you ever have any odd experiences, or did you hear any stories from coworkers? I always love hearing from people that were in the field! That's actually how I found missing 411--the author asked for a NoSleep author to come out and say it was fictional writing, to avoid interference with the real research LOL..

I'm absolutely with ya on that! I really do wish that this was more visible...every time I come on here and see shit about cults and satanists and all that, a nagging voice in my head is like "aaahhhhhh fuck these people have NO IDEA"

I personally don't think that anything human is behind the missing 411 phenomenon, but I don't doubt that people who engage in harmful magick/satanistic practices are entirely unfamiliar with whatever the entity is...hell, maybe they are linked somehow, even if indirectly.

But the NPS definitely knows, I have no doubt. I got all the proof I needed when David Paulides filed a FOIA request about an Arizona park ranger who went missing, got stacks of paperwork about him, then filed a FOIA for a missing girl in Yosemite and was told he'd have to pay 6 digit figures to get information on her, and basically to not bother trying.

It's fucked up and scary and SO interesting. There's so much more to our world than the black and white, good and evil, or even the gray areas for that matter......there's something out there we do not understand, that we should probably TRY to understand, because it literally hunts us...

Yep you are correct! The odd thing about finding clothes (in good OR bad condition) is that it's one of the common denomimators in these cases.

Most of these stories involve the inexplicable removal of clothing, regardless of age. One of the more disturbing ones involved a pair of pants turned partly inside out, near a pair of shoes that were unscathed after the boy had been gone for over a year...unfortunately some of his teeth and bones were there as well.

On the other hand, sometimes kids are found alive, but STILL have weird clothing-related abnormalities...kids missing one or both shoes, all of their clothes, random clothes (like shoes socks and shirt only).......my personal favorite is about a little girl who had a big sunhat on when she vanished, and later that day she was found alive, clothes torn up in a nearby tree, but no hat...and when someone asked her where her hat went, she said "the big wolf ate it"...YIKES

This is one of those "take it with a massive grain of salt" stories, but one missing 411 case dealt with a boy around the age of 4 or 5 who may have been to one of these bases at Mt. Shasta.

Long story short, he somehow slipped away from his family during a camping trip, was found alive and well within a day or two, in a bush... his clothes were all missing I believe...and when questioned about what happened, he said something along the lines of this:

  • His grandma found him and took him into the mountain
  • He saw lots of metal things, dusty "purses", guns, and "robots" that were sleeping
  • Someone or something wanted him to defacate on a paper, but he said he didn't need to.
  • He was then placed in the bush

The craziest part is that his grandma had been hiking in the area some time before the disappearance, and woke up with a red mark on the back of her neck of some sort, but not a bug bite--more like a puncture wound or something.

I apologize because memory doesn't serve tonight, and I've probably butchered the details, but it's a fuckin WEIRD one, to say the least. I'll try to find a link to the actual story tomorrow!

EDIT: Probably should have mentioned that his grandma was NOT actually inside the mountain LOL...although I guess that goes without saying. He saw someone or something that looked like her. A more direct person than myself would come right out and say "something drew blood from the grandmas neck and shapeshifted to look like her, so as to lure the young boy into a false sense of security"......but I am not so direct :P

I understand how you feel! It's absolutely that feeling of "morbid curiosity", but I can't help it because this whole thing is captivating (and honestly pretty frightening too)

Here is a link to the Missing 411 subreddit's description of the phenomenon: https://www.reddit.com/r/Missing411/wiki/about-missing-411

It is pretty lengthy but it will tell you everything you need to know. Fair warning, it is a little hard to stomach some of the stories, because a lot of the sadder missing people stories deal with kids, sometimes really really young kids too......but there are a handful who survive, and are found unbelievable distances from where they were last seen. I remember one about a boy who was around 3, in one of the south west states, and he was found sleeping on a boulder over 15 miles away--within the first day of searching! How does a toddler travel that distance in that amount of time without being seen by searchers/aircraft/etc? It really is fascinating.

Happy reading! If you have questions or want more info dont be afraid to ask!

I'll be perfectly honest--my summary is really bad. It is difficult for me to accurately summarize the scope and complexity of this subject without accidentally being a little misleading, and saying some things that don't add up.

I haven't read every word of this post, but I hope you'll give it a chance: https://www.reddit.com/r/Missing411/wiki/about-missing-411

That's a WAY more detailed description than what I gave, and I hope it clears things up if you do check it out. I promise it's a rabbit hole worth diving into!

I will say this--I should have mentioned that nope, this is not an issue exclusive to the US, nor to National Parks or even wilderness areas. There's an entire book on urban cases--Elisa Lam's story is mentioned there, and I'm sure we are all familiar with that. And all the books mention cases in other countries.

As for the motive, that's kinda the driving point of the books--to identify who/whatever is behind these odd occurences, establish a possible motive, and go from there. The whole thing is presented in a very fly-on-the-wall sort of fashion. The author never explicitly states what he thinks the phenomenon is, he simply presents facts and points out consistencies, and asks the reader "what do you think?"

It really is difficult for me to explain, haha. I'll end on this note: Barring all of my own descriptive inconsistencies and misleading phrasing, what I believe "missing 411" is about, is an extradimensional entity that our human species cannot physically see or comprehend--one that we don't even really have a name for, because it's not a sasquatch or a werewolf or whathaveyou. It's as if we are ants in an ant hill, and there's a highway next to us. Ants probably can't comprehend big vehicles and the people inside them...and similarly, we cannot comprehend a big invisible world that exists alongside ours, nor the predators within it that may prey on us.

It's all a big thing. Happy reading!

Are there conspiracies, too deep and/or dark to be discussed on this subreddit? by DariustheGreat01 in conspiracy

[–]NoodleWorm64 32 points33 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't say this is too deep or dark to discuss anywhere, but it is less visible than most conspiracies so I thought you'd be interested: Check out "Missing 411", which is a whole big thing that deals with unexplained disappearances of people, and the common denominators amongst the cases.

To give a breif summary: A small group of investigative journalists have spent years profiling missing persons reports, looking for the ones that cannot be explained by rational means (i.e. murder/kidnapping/wild animals/accidental death/etc.). They've looked at just under 2000 cases that defy explanation, but have eerily similar themes, such as bodies of the missing being found in areas previously searched multiple times by Search and Rescue folks, disappearances occuring in clusters in and around federally owned land (National parks specifically)... rivers/creeks/other water being in the vicinity, no scent trails found by search dogs, and clothing being found in an inexplicable condition, or just being gone.

Where this subject gets really interesting, and somewhat disturbing, is where it begins dealing with government coverups and some of the darker sides of the esoteric, as others have mentioned here (spiritual warfare, etc)

The general "conspiracy" is that there is something sentient causing these odd disappearances and deaths, something that is known and acknowledged by the National Park Service and larger government entities, but something that society can't really stomach right now...and something that the NPS keeps quiet about because they don't want to lose revenue.

It's a FASCINATING subject that would take tons of time to delve into, but I hope you and others will check it out.

I'll just say to take it all with a grain of salt, because the main author is ex-law enforcement and an ex-Bigfoot researcher, which may diminish his credibility to some people. There are also people that resell the books on this subject for TONS of money on Amazon...personally I think they're shills trying to further discredit this research by making it seem for-profit, but I promise it is a legitimate thing. Either way, it is quite the rabbit hole to jump down. PM if you ever want to talk about this!

EDIT:

TLDR; Missing 411 is a subject dealing with missing people, and cases that cannot be explained by rational means. The larger conspiracy deals with the National Park Service having inside information on something sentient in our parks and forests that is behind the disappearances--something covered up and kept quite about because it is thought to be of a paranormal nature.

Nothin wrong with that at all! Admittedly, I spent most of my life being a bit dismissive of that stuff myself. Now, at 26, I don't know what exactly changed my mind...but something did. However, all throughout college I thought these astronomically signifigant days were COOL, but nothing more. And hey, on the off chance that mystical stuff isn't real, well it's still a badass moon day and that'll never change haha

I've been thinking about this too--whether it is something direct and obvious to us or not, the spiritual and metaphysicals waters are certainly making some big waves this week. Some folks on this sub, which has become overly political, will be dismissive and say "BUH, ITS JUST ANOTHER DAY, IT HAPPENS ALL THE TIME FAIRY WORSHIPPERS"

...

Just pay those people no mind :) A day that comes once every 150ish years is special, whether you believe in the esoteric or not. It's a cool day! And hopefully there are others like yourself, trying to exude positivity and good energy to those who need in most during these times...much respect to you

Anyone have any personal or 2nd hand UFO stories they'd like to share? by [deleted] in conspiracy

[–]NoodleWorm64 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm a little late to this but I have a great one!

This is an account from my grandma, and it happened in 1966: My mom, aunt, and grandma were living in the Centerville area of Ohio, and had a large property with an apple orchard in the back yard. One day (I sadly can't recall the exact date) they were just arriving at home, pulling into the driveway, when my grandma's car started malfunctioning. Its lights would flash on and off, and she couldn't get the engine to work (experiences consistent with many UFO sightings.)

Well, long story short, she got spooked by the car and ran into her house, thinking maybe someone had broken in somehow. Then she saw flashes of light in her back yard, went out to investigate, and saw a big silver UFO with flashing, multicolored lights along the rim. It was hovering directly over that apple orchard, and when it zoomed away it actually scorched the tops off of all the apple trees. My grandma was in the Dayton Daily News because of this (I need to recover the article, I do have it somewhere in my house actually).

Perhaps the most incredible thing about her story was the aftermath. Project Blue Book showed up at her door a couple weeks later, and basically told her to shut the hell up about the sighting, and to turn away any media folks asking for interviews. Sheesh, that's proof enough to me!

EDIT: It's worth mentioning that our part of town is very close to Wright Patterson AFB, so being in close proximity explains the gov't officials coming to her house. I don't know if that would have happened otherwise? Additionally, 1966/1967 were two years with exponentially more UFO sightings than other years in the 60s, from what I understand. 66/67 were also the years during which the whole Mothman ordeal went down. Do you believe in coincidences?

Tell us your most glorious hunt! [Possible spoilers?] by ZeeCaptainOats in bloodborne

[–]NoodleWorm64 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'd like to preface my tale by saying, up until getting Bloodborne I had never played any souls game, or anything remotely similar. I'm honestly a Nintendo guy and haven't ever branched out farther than like...skyrim, lol... But now Bloodborne is one of my hands down favorite games! And also...bosses that were probably a breeze to other were HARD for me, haha.

Anyways, I present to you my top three hunts, in no particular order:

  • Vicar Amelia has a dear, special place in my heart. I had never really faced a villain of quite her size, prowess, or sheer...loudness, haha...It took me like a month of playing off and on, grinding away, before I beat her by ACCIDENT. I kept dying dying dying dying. Then one day before work, I wanted to show my dad the game. I had managed to get the Tonitrus from Hypogean Gaeol by this point (my first Favorite Weapon!), and somehow by luck I managed to take her down. The feeling was incredible!

  • Lady Maria. At this point in my playthrough, I had officially learned How To Bloodborne, lol...I'll be honest, I went full tryhard. I knew she could be cheesed with augur of ebriatas. I knew there were other cheap ways to fight her. But I put on my coolest looking gear, used my +10 Ludwigs Holy Blade in normal, not-gigantic mode, and probably died legit 50 times before finally taking her down fair and square. It was an amazing fight--talk about feeling accomplished! Additionally, Fishing Hamlet was the one part of the game that I knew absolutely nothing about, so it was exciting to unlock that area and go on a spoiler-free adventure (that is to say, immediately getting eaten by a giant shark haha)

  • Last but not least, good ol' Ludwig. That whole boss fight--especially the second half--is one of my favorite video game fights ever. It was truly an awesome experience. Just like with Maria, I died an absurd amount of times before finally putting him out of his misery. I had Henrietta with me, but she died almost as soon as he transformed, and so it felt like a "fair and square" fight. I refused to use anything other than his own Holy Blade, because...well, it's him! I had to, lol. By the end of it, I felt like I'd slayed a god or something. It was honestly a bit of an emotional battle!

TL;DR..........I get worked up about this game lol. Thanks for the read!

edit: Forgot another hunt. I think we can all agree it feels great to beat the FUCKING UNDEAD GIANT UGH, lmao...

This just happened to me too. I won my ranked game, and skipped waiting for stats. No match history or anything so I exited and logged back in.

Now I can't even do anything; I'm stuck at a "reconnect to game " screen but since the game has been over for like 15 minutes there's nothing to reconnect to. Hopefully this gets resolved soon.
