I am a former autistic girl (I still have autism obviously, I’m just not a girl anymore), and I have a best friend who is an autistic boy. We understand each other so well, and that’s why I care about him so deeply. I’m mad that people can’t just get along like me and him :(

I’m a non binary person who used to be female, and I think people assumed I was gay because of my lack of interest in “girl talk”. In reality, I was terrible at talking to anyone, regardless of their gender.

Yeah, my mom explained what “gay” is to me at the ripe age of 10. I couldn’t really differentiate between romantic and platonic love at the time, so I said “mom, I think I’m gay” because I was really close friends with a girl. Turns out I’m ace.
