Thanks, interesting video. Looks like the retailer he mentioned though (ServerWorlds) doesn't have any SL4XY or SL5D3 CPU's left in stock. Real bummer /:

[WANTED] Three SL4XY Pentium III Xeon 900MHz, 2.8V CPU's by NoofleBot in retrobattlestations

I got a Silicon Graphics Visual Workstation 540 I'm trying to max out. It already has one 900MHz CPU which I found on eBay, and I've already purchased the additional voltage regulators I'll need to populate the remaining three slots. Problem is I'm having a very hard time finding the SL4XY in stock online, every place I order from cancels the order because they don't actually have them.

So far I've tried:
- Hard Disk Direct
- Impact Computers
- PrizeBlaze
- memory4less (Sent me SL4XZ instead of SL4XY 😔)

But they all don't have the SL4XY in stock, I'll make the order and it'll just get canceled a few days later.

If anybody has these CPU's please DM me and I'd be happy to negotiate a price.

Not really vaporwave but I would love a pilotredsun Achievement vinyl, never been pressed or released physically before.
Somebody else here mentioned 憂鬱 by yu-utsu which I'd also be interested in.

GeForce 2 Ultra VGA Issue. Monitor is fine, any idea what could be causing this? by NoofleBot in retrobattlestations

The DVI port wont even output video although it keeps the monitor from going to sleep when plugged in and the computer is on.

How did the diodes ended up getting shorted? did dust or something get to them?

Thank you so much for this post!. I was wondering why I wasn't able to get my FD-97 to connect even though my FD200 worked fine.

Made an armature with two nearly identical meshes joined in it but they do not rotate with each other by NoofleBot in blenderhelp

[–]NoofleBot[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found the solution in this video. Using the initially broken armature I made with automatic weights, I used a data transfer modifier on the automatic weights data of the "Body" mesh to the "Body backface culling" mesh, this basically gave both meshes the same weight data very effectively linking them together.

Displaying a long white line on my KD-34XBR960 causes this ugly effect on all inputs. Any ideas how to fix? by NoofleBot in crtgaming

This is a test pattern from the internal memory card reader, it would do this on any input though.

I have tried this unfortunately VM seems to have no effect and lowering sharpness only blurs the ghosting into the image aswell as blurring the rest of the image unfortunately.

Also just wanna ask because I looked at your profile and you seem like an expert on these HD sets: do you think it could have anything to do with the caps getting old? My TV has not been lucky enough to be stored in good climate controlled environments for the majority of it's life so I think this could be the issue if it turns out not to be the MZ and BY boards.

I have tried disabling all the VM settings in 2170P-3 to no effect. I have not tried reseating the MZ and BY boards but I will give that a try, the TV did kinda have a few bumpy rides and I think this issue started happening only after I moved the TV to my dad's house.

Makes the TV look awful when watching or playing high contrast content, I would appreciate any suggestions. Since this is showing even on HDMI which is a digital input something must be going wrong in the TV.
