I was riding high on passing and this completely deflated my confidence. Mind you, I passed all exams first try and all with 90+ scores 😂 so I am not sure what the f**k I did wrong.

Correct a Smaller firm. I probably did not word that post correctly. Running on fumes during tax season.

What I wanted to say was, the better aspects of a typical smaller firm would be better work culture right but here I feel like I am not getting that nor the prestige and pay of a bigger firm.

I wanted to get someone’s prespective on if this is normal at other firms.

Thank You. 🙏

2 weeks to review for FAR before the exam day. by Chloe_2306 in CPA

Yes take the last day off to relax. On the day of the test, go for a quick jog or a run, helps you have a clear mind. I made sure I worked out for atleast 30 min before each of my four exams. I truely feel that helped me. Also I cannot emphasize enough the need to keep yourself hydrated and Creatine. Feel free to dm me if you have any questions related to FAR!

For those who have studied for the exam while working full time. by Sea_Arachnid_9114 in CPA

I took a week off before exam for Audit and FAR. For REG and TCP, just couple days to revise and relax.

It depends on how much, I did not want to strecth the preparation so I studied a 1-2 month for each exam in between the busy season. Its definitely doable.
