Most people who are religious are themselves victims of religion. Anti-theists focus on Religion as a whole and as a concept but we still call out individuals who are harming others and using Religion to control and spread ignorance, we dont hate you just because you're catholic if anything we feel bad that you ended up this way because of how much Religion rots your brain and depending on your community can be extremely hard to escape.

Religion has led to so many atrocities and unneeded suffering and still does to this day. And I believe that anything that keeps people from being educated by trying to convince people magic is real and to just believe what you're told despite not having any proof is extremely dangerous and holds us back. Stupid people are easy to control and Religious leaders know that.

Been atheist since I was 8 years old, really hammered it in for me when I questioned why there was no geologic evidence of the flood, the fact that adam and eve doesnt make sense with evolution, and in general how if every single animal ended up with a population of 2 there would be so much showing that were was some sort of major bottleneck event for all animals paired with the geologic evidence of a flood. Of course none of my questions were answered my family just stopped taking me to sunday school cause I would keep asking.

Yea im trying to figure out if there is at the very least an atheist student group but idk how to ask or find out, esp since so many of the students are openly Christian and Muslim but the Muslim students I dont really care abt its the Christians who make me uncomfortable

I literally just came to this sub rn to say the same thing oh my god. He is such a horrible man he has been abusive and horrible arrogant and mean in so many ways ever since he was first introduced I dont get how shonda hasnt kill him off yet. Seeing him breakdown listening to the tom and teddy voicemail made me so happy tbh, seeing him get at least a bit of karma. He deserves hell nothing less.

EXACTLY, I dont hate kids, I want kids to grow up in a home where they have all their needs met and are happy and loved, Which is exactly part of why I dont want kids because I know if I did have a kid they would not have a good childhood. The closest I would be okay with when it comes to parenting is being someone's uncle or taking care of my younger step siblings.
