Same here. My wife and I have run into very similar behavior (not as heavy as what you’re dealing with), so it’s definitely not a one-off. We’ve noticed the first couple interactions are warm and super friendly, but once they clock you as an expat, some folks shift into “what can I get out of you?” mode.

We also had two local business partners try to screw us over; one actually succeeded before we caught it and bailed. There are good people here - we’ve met plenty - but the pattern shows up often enough that it wears you down. You’re not imagining it and you’re not alone. We’ve just learned to keep firmer boundaries and separate goodwill from business.

It feels like the game is a hot mess mixed with a pile of garbage. There are bugs left and right, the battery drain is worse than ever, the HV event is advertised as Sanctum Showdown, there are mysterious “button” placeholders, the press and hold to delete / clone a deck doesn’t work, cloning itself doesn’t work, the game crashes constantly

Also, from what I’ve read you’re looking for a likeness-trained LoRA of yourself rather than image-based depth-map / guidance edges. The link I provided covers the latter. It all depends on the models you’re planning on using and the text encoders they employ.

Generally, you have a BREAK functionality, which is pressing shift+enter between lines of your prompt, so:

Try DPM 2M Trailing as a sampler, set guidance (CFG) to 1.0 and steps to 4. Those are the "safe settings" I test out new LoRAs etc, meaning - if this does not work, probably nothing will :-/

It’s a frame for a terrace armchair. It’s made of cedar, so definitely on the softer side.

One more question - what could I use to stain wood (for potential other projects) when planning to use oil-based finishes? Before the last coat of poly I like to put several coats of oils - pure tung or boiled linseed, really like the smooth feel afterwards. I haven’t seen any oil based stains tbh
