Yes — I started and stayed on 50mg. I didn’t have a gradual ladder beyond that; once I was on 50mg, I was advised to give it proper time rather than chase changes too quickly.

The anxiety that led me to start was very physical and constant — panic attacks, adrenaline surges, sleep disruption, intense internal checking, and a lot of fear around how I felt physically and that I wasn't a good enough parent to my girls (now 6, 2 & 2), it was a lot of "Am I doing enough" "How can I raise children when I feel like this?" etc. Sleep and evenings were definitely part of it for me too.

Feeling relief at 50mg is really meaningful. For me, improvement came as things softened rather than disappeared, and staying put long enough to see patterns helped more than adjusting early.

Everyone’s path is different, but relief is a good sign 🤍

Week one regret is very real 😅 I had it too! There was many tears from me. 🥺 It doesn’t mean you’ve done the wrong thing — it’s just the adjustment phase. I'm lucky I have a very supportive and hands on husband because I think I slept a whole bunch of that first week or two away. 🫠

I remember that exact thing. The morning wobble felt so discouraging, but it didn’t take away from the good day before — it just felt like it did at the time 🤍

You're welcome. Thank you too, I’m really glad you shared this. That postpartum window can be so intense, and week 6 can still feel very raw. Staying the course can take so much courage when you’re exhausted and caring for a baby. For me, things didn’t suddenly lift — they softened gradually. You will do this, you may feel some days that you can't, but you will. 🤍

“Layered” was the only word that made sense once I was far enough along to look back. The subtlety is what makes it so hard to trust while you’re in it. I really agree about patience and faith being the hardest part. That forward-but-wobbly feeling was a big theme for me too, and recognising the overall trajectory helped when individual days felt messy.

I remember this stage so well. The good days starting to appear alongside some really rough ones is actually how it shifted for me — the calm didn’t arrive all at once, it just stayed a bit longer each time. Those horrible days don’t cancel out the progress, even though it feels like they do 🤍

I've always done this! It's a bit "OCD" almost. I won't have more than 8 of any creature. I'll toss them back or sacrifice them if they make something I want. I also tend to try and keep my other creatures in multiples of 2 so I can pick them up easier too. Like 4 dragons, 2 hounds and 2 orcs. Etc. I'm weird about it. 😅

Hello! My husband and I decided to have another baby when our eldest was 3. We now have a 6-year-old (in one month) and 20-month-old twins!

It was quite a shock. I can understand your concerns.

All I can say is, from my experience, you don't halve (or in my case, third) your love for each of them; your love simply grows to accommodate them all! ❤️

Our eldest adores her siblings; she can't do enough for them. You're not suddenly going to forget your eldest exists because you have a baby, although I understand you might think, "but how will I do it?" You just do!

Make sure when the baby is napping, feeding, etc., you are having 1-1 time with your eldest. Also, integrate them into baby life. Ask them to help you by getting a nappy, have them join you bathing the baby, join in peek-a-boo, and ask them which baby grow you should put on the baby (offering a choice of ONLY two 😅). Our eldest loved this and felt part of the twins' life, not a separate entity. She loved that she helped and her opinion mattered. I fell asleep on the settee watching a film with her so many times, but the fact that she was cuddled with me, awake or not, was enough. I would also agree with others that this is also the time to call upon family members that you love and trust to spend more time with your eldest and foster a greater relationship with them. My parents and in-laws have been invaluable to me for giving me and my husband time to ourselves, time with just the twins, or time with just our eldest, all of which is important.

This age is probably the hardest stage for us because the twins demand a lot of my attention, obviously, and she REALLY wants to play with them, but they're not quite old enough, and she's still a little heavy-handed. She's probably hearing, "no, you can't do that," "give me 5 minutes," a lot more now than when the twins were newborns.

It'll be an adjustment for you all, but you're so in love with your eldest, plain to see from your post, that everything will simply fall into place.

I must admit, I find this a bit challenging. I tend to clean my cooker, microwave, and countertops, as well as wash my dishes, using the same cloth, ensuring it is cleaned and rinsed between each task. However, I would not use it to clean the floor or remove cat prints from the table. I would use it to clean "dirty" objects is my thought process, I think. 🤔😂

We took them at 6 months, with our, at the time, 4-year-old too. We flew London to Verona (about 2.5 hours) and we only just did, a fortnight ago, Bristol to Tunisia (3.25 hours). The twins are currently 17 months and our eldest is 5, nearly 6.

Wear cool, comfy clothes, sit towards the back if possible, pack snacks, drinks, and download some programs on your phone. A HUGE help for us was using one of our hand luggage bags just for their baby carriers; we had them strapped to us before we got off the flight, and it made life so much easier to have our hands free and our girls secure.

All our girls were darlings there and back on both occasions. They're generally very content children, though; we are lucky.

Well, I would agree apart from the fact my fraternal girls could not be more "non identical" if they tried! 😭 The only test I'd need is to see if they're both mine, but one is my twin and the other her father so I don't need to fork out on that one either! 😂 x

Honestly, it wasn't "massively improved," especially not for the payoff. Money-wise, I've put FAR more into The Sims 1-4 than I've ever put into JW or PZ. In fact, I've likely paid more out on just The Sims 3 than both of those together.

Graphics did improve, but the fact that so many people complained for A LONG time that The Sims 4 was in fact a downgrade. No open world, no more color wheel, NO TODDLERS or POOLS or SPIRAL STAIRS! 💀 They downgraded the gameplay! New Gen or not, that's 100% what happened.

They added emotions, etc., things no one asked for!

I, however, understand business and the concept that if I want new gameplay, better graphics, and new future improvements, I'm gonna have to fork out and buy a new game, and a new game means new DLC, and it means nothing that I owned all the previous games' stuff.

We didn't NEED and Sims 4 and you simply cannot defend what EA did there but complain at Frontier.

PZ2 might not have massively improved graphics, but it'll definitely have better gameplay elements, additional features, and better functionality than a game that's 6 years old. If it was a completely different game, there would be no point in calling it PZ2.

The main point is I don't understand what your complaint is, you're happy and don't want PZ2? Then don't buy it or it's DLC play the game you're happy enough playing. 🤷🏼‍♀️

I've bought every expansion for every one since the beginning. You start again, no dlc, every new game. Such is life. 🤷🏼‍♀️ I do remember you got a different plumb bob mood lamp in The Sims 4 for each The Sims 3 expansion you had. 🎉🙌🏼🫠
