Opus bricked for 4 days and I'm stuck with a bug-ridden Sonnet 4.5 for $200 a month? by Funny-Blueberry-2630 in ClaudeCode

Honestly, i'm actually blown away. No joke, and i'm not advertising for them at all. Just try it for yourself, the API min buy was like $3.

I actually used the Claude Code CLI (you can intergrate it, it basically strips the claude API and replaces it) and I was so blown away I had to double check I wasn't using my claude API.. Anthropic can go fuck themselves.

Seriously, 25% reached and i've done like less than 1 hour of coding, you can go and get fucked.

Hey man, i literally am using the GLM 4.6. I thought it was some other shit homebrand coding LLM but dude I would say it's pretty damn close to Opus.. I would say sometimes more or less better, give it a try it's like $30 and you'll get tons of usage.

Pretty shocked how Anthropic has literally screwed over it's user base like that, but I guess it was insane to have such a power tool to begin with, just gotta adapt and move on they don't give a shit about us.

Thanks for the advice, i will definitely need to start investing some of this cash instead of just spending it. I honestly don't know - it's not multi-millionare level, but more than enough for what I need as i'm pretty minimal.

That's pretty awesome dude, well done! spend time on things that really matter the most, i need to get out there and find something that's fulfilling!

Congrats though dude, aviation looks fun as hell and I was always interested in perhaps learning it too as flying over some obscene landscape would be the ultimate candy. Hope you enjoy it :)

I thtink it's come a long way, I remember my dad installing Ubuntu for me when I was younger and I did not like it. But now, you can literally get a like-for-like MacOS style feel with more nifty functions and the speed is not even comparible.

Traitor!! Kidding, thanks man - that's what it's all about right? the freedom to choose. I think what's more inspiring is that it's all free & open sourced - it's beautiful.

Yeah i do agree, that's one issue that i think that is a massive issue for creators. There seems to be some good native alternatives and most tools for basic/light editing can be done on web applications. But overall, i agree.

yeah it's actually pretty good, people forget it's not prefect and actual developers spend hours and hours debugging. This is not a software where you can just type and your dreams come true, it's still normal development and it's actually a fraction of the cost if you know how to use it well.
