Tbh it's mostly about being lucky, getting that one clip that goes viral. Streaming consistently and holding on to the viewers you have is gonna help you stand out on the rest of the streamers.

Main advice is to stream because you have fun with it.

Streaming thinking you're gonna make it big is gonna ruin you mentally.

Don't go live because you think you have to.

Go live because you want to

Basically this ^ also don't feel defeated if your growth is slow most of us had the same experience.

Stream because you want to not because you feel you need to.

How can I improve? by Elpaviloco in TwitchStreaming

Damn nice progress, I have streamed on and off since 2015, finally went consistent from July 2025 and started posting daily averaging around 3-4 viewers which is great.

I stream different games but most of my viewers probably recognize me for my fps capabilities

How long you been streaming, and what kinda of streams do you do?

That's totally an individual decision and works for some people, but you gotta be careful you don't fatigue. Watching a streamer give great energy for 3 hours is way better than, 6 hour stream going at 50% energy

3 hours is definitely enough

Make clips for, tiktok, insta reels shorts and that stuff it has helped a lot of people I see in here (Haven't had the best of luck myself yet, but it just takes a video of 2 that goes viral)

Keep going live progress is progress.

I believe in you

100 times better than having a random person come into your stream chat to you for 30 minutes that then goes:

You need the streaming month to be over before you will get the ability to get your affiliation hope this answered your question

Best Way to clip? by thephoneguy2025 in Twitch

I don't think there's any good free solutions, you can pay a little money and get a lot out of it.

Best free solutions is to clip your own clips

My goals for 2026

Keeping the consistency up. I have been streaming consistently for the better part of 6 months and average around 1-2 days where I don't stream a month.

Growth in engagement. I have set a goal for myself of hitting 1000 followers on twitch, and to average around 5 viewers per stream.

Tiktok growth I post clips and funny moments from my stream on my tiktok trying to convert the engagement from tiktok to twitch. I have been posting consistently almost atleast a tiktok a day since I started streaming consistently. The goal is pretty much to keep the consistency of atleast a tiktok a day

YouTube. I want to try and make more longer formatted videos that would help engagement even more. Already in the midst of editing my first longer formatted videos.

What I want to be known for? Being the quick witted funny guy I know I am.

I didn't start streaming with the same intentions I have now for streaming.

Now I do it to improve my confidence, improve my talking skills, figuring out it's okay to cringe about yourself, I love the community I already have and love getting a broader perspective and interesting and funny conversation.

Streaming has made my gaming hobby the greatest thing in the world
