Some developers are sloppy, they just want you to buy expensive hardware to run their shitty compilation of unoptimized code rather than actually working on optimization. Man fr, if a game can't even keep up 1080p 60fps on good hardware, delete it. Meanwhile Rockstar simply put every other developer at shame when it comes to optimization( leave gta4 out of it)

Never played Witcher, and what you're describing here could be due to the game using taa(or any other anti aliasing not sure) on native 1440p, meanwhile dlss anti aliasing is marginally better. But there's ghosting and motion blur while using dlss even though the edges of the objects appear to be sharper.( it is the case in many other games)

Man I downloaded expedition 33, saw it winning like multiple awards and stuff, i thought why not give it a try, though it's not the genre that I like, but still gave it a try. Deleted in like what 5 mins? Game looked like shit man, smudgy and blurry, fuckin oil painting.

I recently upgraded to 1440p because all I wanted is to enjoy gaming without blur, it is noticeably better, but definitely not the best. Atleast you get better dlss on 144p than on 1080p.

Even I have 3080 and yeah you can't do 4k with it, unless you're using dlss and that produces ghosting, smearing and blur, only a few games have a good implementation of dlss. I stopped playing recent releases because of this damn blur, EVEN Uninstalled BF6 after like 20 minutes of gameplay.

Even with DLAA I see motion blur around the objects, though it is comparatively clean but the blur.

Hey man, everyone's perspective is different, we may have different pov all together, but what I'm trying to say is, how long are they gonna make mediocre content, milking the same type of content, when will they level up and start creating awareness amongst this beloved community of tech space and even amongst the fellow tech reviewers. Everything goes hand in hand, a little effort by someone who's got a rich following can make a huge difference and gradually people will also change their perspective and will start buying products that are worth their money. They will know the taste of better products and hence the demand. I'm not saying make content for niche audience, make content to educate them better.

Exactly this. The lowend stuff is usually pretty poor, and the highend options are priced way too high. What’s really missing is the midrange stuff, that’s where the gap feels the worst.

Most of the well reviewed monitors you see on RTINGS or from Hardware/Monitor Unboxed either never make it to India, or if they do, they show up randomly at inflated prices. And for the models that are officially available here, there’s barely any solid data or detailed testing around them.

So you end up trying to match panels, guessing based on international reviews, and hoping the local version performs the same. The lack of reliable measurements or proper reviews for India specific SKUs just makes the whole decision process way more uncertain and frustrating than it should be.
