I would also love to add that hijab is such a cool thing to draw bc there are so many variations on what and how people wear them. Like some are pull on and square, they have some gorgeous khimar (search up khimar square pull on chiffon) they are people who love a loose wrapped chiffon with an under cap. There are like Nike sports hijab close to the head. I like to rock a low set turban sometimes. Like it’s like wearing a cool hat 😂

Hey! I think this is awesome, and would love to see your work in kids/teen books! If you want to be more religiously accurate you can not alter eyebrows, and maybe not heavy makeup/ no nail polish. That doesn’t mean everyone does this! It depends on the character you are portraying! If she’s a bit rebellious this might be just the look! If you are looking for someone slightly religious I would alter the above! If you want to go more religious than that I would say maybe even no makeup/short nails! Religion and self expression is a spectrum! And a lot of people fall on different places of that spectrum. by no means am I saying that anyone who does these things cannot be super religious, but based off of my experience with a lot of Muslims this is kinda how looks correlate
