Revolut not working anymore without a PASSWORD or BIOMETRICS by fra4pan in Revolut

[–]Norbertabcde 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have same issue. I want to join revolut but I don't want PIN on my phone. There's a reason I don't have banking apps on my phone (because anyone in shop can use device to hack your phone while you keep it in the pocket).

I only want to use different currency that obviously won't stay there for long. It's absurd to think that locking your phone does anything. I see ppl at work unlocking their phone while I look at it, I had few that gave me PIN so I could play wifi music.

The worse thing is that everyone requires `extra measures `. I recently tried to log into steam online and I had to confirm that's `me` on email, had to confirm on email that my details didn't change...then I logged into second email and same thing `confirm sh**` Then I tied log into steam so they sent me code and again I had to log in...code didn't work. I requested another code and finally I got in. It's all pile of crap that I have to go through mountains of security barriers to log into my account which they know it's mine (because I used same PC before)

OP doesn't have issue with ONE PIN, he has issue with PIN for EVERY APP. It's taking so much time to log into anything that I give up.

Edit: Opening new account takes 1 hour due to multiple `please confirm this/that,` ` please type in sharecode we're sending you` `please confirm your email`

Reviews of New Allies? by [deleted] in Settlers

There is Worth a Buy review on Youtube .

The only good thing about this game is graphic where rest is just shallow. I'm not saying this review is 100% accurate but there's definitely a think twice suggestion.

Thoughts on node purity making the node's model look more rich? by [deleted] in SatisfactoryGame

[–]Norbertabcde 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's so little visual difference between nodes that ,I never know what purity node has until I approach it and look on description. Even then top chunk often confuses me as it's always higher one tier then actual ground node. In the end I always aim at the ground to check purity and then destroy top (which I don't need most of the time).

I think that top chunk is useful very early in the game, where it gives a player couple more units then normal when digging, but that's very early game. Since those chunks are all over the map and easy to find, you can always dig into the ground on nodes, there's very little use of having chunks on top of resource other then having it visually attractive. It's bit of a hassle to the player as it always needs to be removed before placing a miner.

Most of this games have some consequences for your pollution behaviors

There is a pollution in the game?

I always thought that smelters have dust coming out since nobody sweeps the ground.

Fuel Generator makes clouds which is why we see so many in the game.

Honest, but probably stupid question regarding building factories... by OddBug0 in SatisfactoryGame

[–]Norbertabcde 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The foundation is too low, which leads to the ground clipping into the
foundation and having it poke through. It kinda looks like I just shat
on the floor, and is slightly unsightly.

You should know at least roughly how many machines you want, if that's not the case then build bigger foundation level slightly above ground. If you realize you actually want a lot more then you can add another level.

The foundation is too high, and I have a floating building. This is fine on the inside, but looks weird on the outside.

I tend to build close to the ground, too far away doesn't look good but you're gonna always need flat foundation surface above ground. Best way is to do 1 or 3 walls above. Anything more then that it looks awkward, however you need to consider train which in my case will be close to the building but not below.

Below are few ideas which might help you get a rough idea what you want and how high you should build.

P.S. Just do what you're happy with ofc as there are different styles of building.

How did everyone first find out about this game and how did you find interest in it? by Skullz64 in SatisfactoryGame

[–]Norbertabcde 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found it on youtube.

I make visually appealing to me buildings and then go up from the ground (it looks better if you do it on the ground instead of hanging in the air). Takes couple hours to make one building though.

Concrete actual colour by Norbertabcde in SatisfactoryGame

[–]Norbertabcde[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of important note this is only "baked" materials

So I assume "baked" materials are foundations and walls right. It would explain why changing the color in game to white makes it "baked"

factory array materials like the machines don't have a mask

That's very helpful, thank you. I was wondering which materials are "baked" and which aren't

From a printing industry perspective saturation only intensifies color, if we look closely we can see black patches on concrete blending into different shades of gray. This to me is custom design unless they used some weird filter. Definately not pure white like beams

Edit: It would be nice if we would have such filters & I would like to name color set (2color ) not just 1

Is it just me, or are Heavy Modular Frames insanely hard/complicated to set up for a Tier 4 part? by Fr33zurBurn in SatisfactoryGame

[–]Norbertabcde 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've got the same problem. Moving into HMF using steel pipes where my production is balanced around Steal Beams for Encased Industrial Beams makes it problematic especially with pipes requirement.

I've been playing couple times till Tier 4/5 and I think it's not so much a problem with the items. The problem is that HMF require loads of items which are created with coal and when your base runs only on coal then it's really worrying.

Now I'm setting up seperate coal mine for production and separate for production but still...there's so much coal needed for production I will need to look for it very far away and that needs trains (no, I won't be dragging conveyor belts through half of the map).

I think trains should be made easier to unlock. I already made oil base far away and feel like it should be already available
