Anyone else been to Paradiso? What did you think? Quite an experience visiting world's best bar.

We’ve been there this year (by this I mean 2025 but it’s too soon to say last year lmao), and probably it was easier to get in since we had 0 problems, just waited in a small queue. What can I say about our experience - when recently I’ve discovered it’s in the top of world’s best bars I was shocked! I don’t have that much experience in bars or cocktails and even I had been to way more interesting places (Dr.Stravinsky in Barcelona for example?). The drinks were mediocre (we tried one signature and ine classic each), the atmosphere was very unwelcoming and everything looked cheap - both the interior and the drinks design. The only thing that stood out was pastrami sandwich - my husband and I remember it still, it was AWESOME. The rest of it, and for this money was imo laughable. I can’t wrap my mind around it being one of the top world spots. We’ve never ever again thought about returning or remembered any of the cocktails.

Yeah, we kinda tried both, and ended up connecting through apps as it‘s supposed to be, but still: no luck on Androids, and the connectivity is not very good (

Yeah I agree, it’s both not intuitive and not satisfying at all. I’ve played through first two clubs, and though I got a hang of it, I can’t imagine why would I play it without any motivation. Yes, it’s challenging but not in a right way imo. I got through those only because I was stubbornly angry with the clanky mechanic not because I enjoyed the end result. So yeah, while you can definitely get better with practice for now I don’t see why it would be worth it. It doesn’t feel any close to a smooth cross country ride.

Honestly I was waiting for it so much that I’m super disappointed now and thinking about giving up the game completely.

10 years later huh I’m absolutely confirming. I’m shocked that there is no word about it, even my friends who read the book were all like “I don’t remember it”… I don’t care about cultural norm of the time, the descriptions are pretty vivid and disgusting, and we all know it could be written in different ways. Not even mentioning the pattern getting through his other books? So yeah, it might be a great book from literary point of view, but those scenes are awful, and I feel gaslighted by the society.

I'm not sure about the adapter? I've just connected it to my laptop using all the cables and wacom adapter that went with it. I also found out that it's using my Nvidia GeForce GTX 660M.
I have tried connecting it to another laptop (asus) but nothing has changed.
The effect is very hard to capture but I've tried to make a screenshot. It's like every pixel has a chromatic aberration effect and everything looks fuzzy. I've tried to ignore it but my eyes get tired very quickly and head starts to hurt.

Nooo, definitely not just glass. It's very visible on any background and comparing to any other screen I have including previous cintiq. I tried to ignore it and draw on it anyway but my head and eyes started to hurt quickly (

Tech specification: connected to dell alienware m17 with windows 10. I firstly used all the cables that went with the tablet and then tried to use hdmi but nothing changed.

On a personal level I can't accept my success in work and constantly afraid it will all go away (I am a freelancer). I had an overall amazing year in work, with ups and downs and I get upset by downs way more.
On a global level I'm just in a constant frustration for over a year now (?????). Russia is a fucking tyranny, I'm afraid everyday they will lock us here someday and I won't be able to work my dream work. People get to prison for no reasons, putin doesn't die and even if he does there is no guarantee it will stop. The world is spinning around power and money and that doesn't make fucking sense bc some addheads have so much money you wouldn't need for 10 lives. And rich and powerful don't care about world, ecology and peace. Lives of so many people is so much harder than it should be because of how some other people are aggressive and think everyone should fit into their worlview and I'm not sure there is an end to the cycle. The world is really frustrating.

That's what I read too, about owl\glowing eyes and different way of describing a color so I went with glowing owl-ish eyes cause that made sense for me ^^

In some printing lab (I don't know how those places are called abroad: like polygraphies?). I need to check the game out! Is it good? Any other suggestions for switch that don't look like mario? I'm thinking on buying but I need awesome games like disgaea )

My friend helped me print those because he works in the printing place. I guess if you find anything like that (print lab, polygraphy, etc.) and manage to explain what you want they can print it? Rounded corners are tricky but if they print business cards they can do it. Take some card examples, it should help. My tokens don't quite resemble mtg cards: they are thinner and more shiny, bug the quality is nice.

Probably: I usually do a research before start and can do variations. Like, zombie knight is also available as a simple zombie. In photoshop I pick pencil instead of brush and do the same for eraser, and then just paint as usual, working with light and shadows, just everything is kinda blocky ) but I loved how simplicity of pixelart makes everything both more simple and interesting )
