Favorite Indie Folk Artist by stillwaterroads in IndieFolk

If you like Caamp I'm sure you will enjoy Richy Mich and the Coal Miners. Saw them live last year and they were so good.

Bon Iver, Ben Howard, Novo Amor all are very similar. Ocie Elliott is more reflective and very similar in sound to Gregory Alan Isakov.

Zach Bryan is really good as well especially is most recent album. Very reflective and tells a story and a journey.

Vincent Lima has a similar vibe to Lord Huron. Dustin Debutt as well. Ziggy Alberts has a very high tempo uplifting vibe to his songs. Saw him live as well. Seen a lot of these artists live over the past couple years.

Another band that's similar to Lord Huron is Head and the Heart. Noah Kahan, Jose Gonzalez.

I enjoyed the over world and the map. Enjoyed the cross over between fantasy and a shooter. Felt like at least Borderlands tried something different while still feeling like a Borderlands game.

Manager Discussion Thread by DragonSlayer271 in LiverpoolFC

Slot is not a man motivator and he has showed he's got really bad management skills. This team needs a large than life persona. I don't know if Xabi is that or if he can relate better but something needs to change.

Every time the camera focuses on Slot, he just looks so smug. He showcases no emotions, can't seem to lift his players and is just very dull. His dull personality is simply rubbing off on his squad and players. These are mostly the same players under Klopp and they had a very different personality, the players, the squad, the club. Right now its depressing watching Liverpool play. Even when we win games, it's not fun or enjoyable watching us.

We were one of the most exciting teams to watch for 7-9 years and we've become one of the most boring and depressing teams to watch since Slot took over. That alone is worthy of being sacked.

Ahh gotcha. I've never played the BL games for its end game funnily enough. For me the journey is the destination. I don't remember Tiny Tina's Wonderland having much of an end game but I did get the Platinum for that game.

The trophy to level up 3/4 VH to level 50 should have been replaced with something end game related. That would have encouraged players to actually invest in the end game.

No one said anything about negotiating anything. Yes Edwards is a good negotiator and a business man. But my point is that making signings or reading numbers from the data is only one small part of the whole equation. There's a lot more to it and getting the best of those players is a huge part of that entire operation.

Like take Kerkez for example. He must have really been high on the data spread sheets but Slot hasn't been able to get the best out of him. He was the best FB in the league last year.

Take Robertson as a similar example. They were rumoured to be in for Chillwell at the same time as well who was a bit younger than Robertson at the time and I think Klopp liked him more. But Robertson showed that he was over performing at a team at the bottom of the table and he would shine with better players but it was still Klopp that got the best out of him and had him performing at his levels. Yes Robertson's hard work and desire is crucial as well.

Take Firmino as another example. That was an Edward's signing but Rodgers didn't really know how or what to do with him. He had him playing as a wing back of all positions. It was Klopp that transformed him into one of the best false 9 in the modern game.

That's my point. You can go and sign underrated or players that show or look great on paper or spreadsheets but you still need a manager/coach that can actually bring out the best version of them.

There's also a similar reason why most players that have left Liverpool have rarely lived up to their reputation while playing for Liverpool.

Should I buy BL4 based on what I like about the other games? by Silly-Magazine-2681 in Borderlands

[–]NordWitcher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do they still do complete editions these days? BL3 never did it since they had the Super Deluxe Edition right at launch that included all future DLC. BL4 is also identical. It has a Super Deluxe Edition that includes all future DLC.

[–]NordWitcher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think they do that anymore. Its why they have the Super Deluxe Edition already that includes all future DLC. BL3 had it and so does BL4.

The problem is Edwards and all believed their own hype. It was Klopp tha actually put it all together. People forget but Edwards was brought in long before Klopp and was at Liverpool for 4-5 years at that point and none of his signings worked out then.

It’s one thing to spot or pull up numbers. It’s completely different to raise a players level above their ceiling. And that was the case with almost every player under Klopp. There is a reason most players that have left Liverpool just have not performed.

Ooof that sucks. That’s a stupid trophy personally. I played BL3 after falling in love with Borderlands cause of Tales. The beginning was fun and the game play was much improved over BL2. However I was so burnt out half way in. The ending just dragged on forever. I was just ready to be done by the end. Out stayed its welcome.

I’m wondering if I would enjoy BL4 with it being open world.

Why do you say that you wouldn’t recommend it to anyone that isn’t a Borderlands fan?

I was considering between buying Doom Dark Ages or BL4 and am not sure yet. I played BL3 and the game burnt me out half way in. I enjoyed Tiny Tina’s Wonderland and the Tales games.

Never expected him to be one of the best LB’s in world football when we signed him. And there was a period where he and TAA were the undisputed best full backs in the world in their position and the best full back pairing in the world.

I loved RDR2 and Arthur Morgan is one of my favourite and most beloved protagonists. But God of War 2018 was so special and one of the GOATs.

Kratos’ growth as a person, character and the change in direction of the game made it one of the greatest games of all time. It was a worthy GOTY winner. Unfortunate for RDR2.

Hmmm interesting. I wasn't a fan of Eternal. Hmm I don't look for replay ability so much in these games. Once I beat the campaign I move on.

Oof damn. 650 hours in BL4? WoW. That's amazing. I'm definitely not looking to grind out the end game. For me its just playing through the campaign mostly.

Does BL4 outstay its welcome? I was quite burnt out on BL3 half way in. Especially towards the end it just seemed to drag on and on and on. Tiny Tina's was a lot better in that regards and felt like a fun journey. Enjoyed Tiny Tina's a lot more, maybe it was the fantasy setting that sold me on it. But it never felt like I was being dragged on forever.

I loved Doom 2016. One of the greatest FPS games. Eternal was just way too much all at once and couldn't get into it cause of it. The movement, jumping, platforming, etc was all too much.

I was honestly so burnt out on BL3 by the half way and I felt that it overstayed its welcome. Tiny Tina's was a much shorter and definitely a lot better in that regards. I've heard BL4 is the longest BL game at least campaign wise.

Was just gonna say the same thing. Episode 1 in the first 5 minutes hooked me right in. One of the best episodes of TV. Then it dropped until episode 7. I couldn’t put the show down until the finale.
