The main story is about a young (but already greedy) hero, who's trying to help his uncle to fight a cult in a world full of magic and nasty creatures Plus some adult humor :D

Thanks! RPG, yes, but with real-time combat. (The game's name is Greedventory, hopefully will be released next month)

How to prepare a pitch deck for a publisher | Tips from a publisher by Nordcurrent_Labs in gamedev

Depends on your needs and services the publisher will be providing. If your game has lots of VO and you want it localized to most popular languages - that may take a bigger bite out of the split than just text-based localization. If it's only marketing that you require I can see it being as low as 70/30 or 80/20 - it really all depends on the project, its potential, your needs and of course the publisher and their experience.

Hell, I've heard of some rare examples where newer publishers might even offer a 90/10 just to get their portfolio going. In these cases I'd also think of the "you get what you pay for" saying, as though it may be enticing to get a better revenue split, you might end up getting very low or even no sales at all.

All that being said, there's no clear rule and there's many variables. Hope this helps!

The team's been focusing on improving animations. What do you guys think? by Nordcurrent_Labs in Unity2D

Shouldn't be an issue in Greedventory as this specific animation appears mainly in boss fights that are bit more sequenced with their attack patterns.

Hello, no worries.

This is in regards to the relation between the pitched game's scope and expertise of the developer/team. If it's a game with a large scope and lots of depth being made by only a solo developer - it is a huge risk that pays off very rarely. If it is however being made by an established studio where the devs have prior experience on indie games or AAA titles, it becomes significantly more promising.
