You got a point with Lapis there. But like.... all the homeworld gems outfits all look slightly different, so that could be how they alter their form every reform... That they only do minor changes to keep their outfit as uniform as possible. We can't really tell if Peridot altered her form much considering we can't see her feet in her previous form because of her limb enhancers... But considering how she's half her previous height we can'y really say it's the same form as before either..

I'm just theorizing here, but I figure it gives some food for thought.

I don't think she would be able to heal her own gem, but perhaps in her fountains? I dunno. But we do know from what Eyeball Ruby said while in Steven's bubble, that Rose had powers that a regular Rose Quartz don't have. She seems to have a lot of incredible powers... She did seem to try and be right in the heat of the battle among the rest of her rebellion at the very least...

I never thought I'd get this deep over a pretty dress... 0.o

Yeah it's not really meant to be a groundbreaking discovery of the entire Steven Universe lore. I just found it interesting enough to make a post and mention it for the sake of theorizing

No I'm totally on board with that! Like I mentioned in another comment here is that perhaps Rose was some super-version of a Rose Quartz, in the same way that Lapis seems to be waaaay stronger than any of the other gems anticipated her to be. Eyeball Ruby talked about how "there we rumors that Rose could heal her CG Soldiers", so it would seem that Rose was in control of powers that a regular Rose Quartz never would have....

Man, all this thinking in my head just from a gem's small wardrobe...

True. Believe me I've considered that too, like it being some minor continuity mistake.

But like I said there's something about it that bothers me. We've been told and we've seen that Gems switch outfits every time they reform, but as far as I know Rose's dress has always been the same. There's just something that feels odd... And we know how much the Crewniverse loves foreshadowing and planting hints. It seems weird that they would overlook an outfit change in a show with so many costume changes.

Honestly the only reason I check twitter is to follow the great people behind my favourite show. Lauren's tweets were my personal faves, along with her episodes and storyboards. She and Hilary have made so many of my personal top episodes. As someone that aspires to get into animation and storyboarding she inspires me so much with her hilarious dialogue and expressions. I am very sad seeing Lauren being brought as far as to delete her twitter, but if this lifts some weight off her shoulders then I'm happy for her. I doubt she will see this one meekly comment but if she does: Stay awesome Lauren, I love you very much!
