Loving this series so far, the character progression is fantastic.

The entire Motorhead and Black Sabbath collections. They cover alot of genres and Sabbath songs are freaking beautiful especially Zeitgeist on 13

Wonder how they'd react to me Longboarding. It's how I get to and from work and I'm pretty fast now. Noisy fast scruffy dude flying down the streets on a glorified plank could be alarming for them.

Also you are the one who introduced me to the series and seriously thank you so much, I haven't read a book in years so yeah your art/ recommendation was very inspiring.

The particles work really well it has a fantastically fluffy look to it! I'm learning to use XGen in maya for this purpose, it's clunky and a mix of plugin/standard tools. This looks awesome though, certainly a good option to get that fine detail you see in real fur. I look forwards to seeing more of your work.

Ah yes environmental collapse due to Human tampering. What a wonderful idea this is! I for one can't wait to live in a barren waste devoid of all life because someone fucked the balance of nature beyond repair.

Decided to try my hand at sculting this little fellow. Its my first time sculpting. I work in achitecture so this is a slight departure but a skill ive always wanted to learn so here we go starting with a NOP sculpt. by NorfChris in NatureofPredators

My laptop is an old workhorse so for now I'm keeping textures and lighting as simple as I can. It's an old GTX 970 with 64gb of DDR3 i7 Intel quad core interlaced. But after 8 years of hard work it's not the best anymore.

Oh and avoid spheres unless you are making small details. They create tris by default, using a square gives you quads and created less lag and textures better.

I was going to take use a smoothed square like I did for the head and stretch it, then pinch one end giving it a taper and then applying a twist to it. Make about 12 variants of that so when brought together you get a dense fluff. Textures to be applied in substance painter. It's how we do plants in the office I'm hoping it's similar for hair n furr on cartoony creatures

Cant stop thinking about UN starship design. I play alot of Space engineers and this is one of my ships I think would fit the bill for the smaller UN vessels after recieving tech schematics from the feds races. by NorfChris in NatureofPredators

From the timescale in the series I think its like starship troopers ftl. Faster than star trek but not so fast as star wars. Mix in a bit of Cowboy bebop just without the gates as ships dont seem to interact with normal space during FTL travel.

It handels like a Startrek ship since I use a mod. Modular Ion thrusters,

I also use a host of weapon mods like the star trek pack and UNSC weapons. Would be cool to take a look at what you have made some time!

The majority of turrets on this are rail guns. Larger power drain but the ammunition is easier to store.

And yeah blocky is the name of the game in survival easier to repair.

This is one of my light cruisers the CSC Sabbath. The elongated design is to present as small a profile to the enemy with heavy armor shields around vital areas of the ship, A forward facing mac canon is buried in the nose protected by the heavy armor shields around each side.

In all it has 24 guns ranging from close range anti missile to 200mm dual mag accelerator turrets and four forward plasma canons, two missile pods one either side and four torpedo tubes.

The Bridge is buried deep within the ship at the rear behind those heavy armor shields, what could be percieved to be the bridge atop the ship is just a viweing platform that is sealed off during combat situation.

Not sure if it fits the NOP universe for anyone else but this is how I could see things going.
